Btw Marius, make sure you do some reading about compressor stall and turbo shuffle so you know how to tune the car with those big twins..oh hai!

I had twin gt2860-5 and this year I'm switching to a single. The twins actually have some lag, there's a big issue with high boost causing turbo shuffle. A proper single will make more power then a twin setup and have the same or less lag. The single is more efficient, there's less chance for the air to become turbulent.

Andy total bills with mortage still leaves me a good lump of cash at the end of te month. If you're building for 500hp but dont really have the large amount of cash, a built engine doesn't need to cost 20k.
Cp pistons (oem size so you had max cylinder wall strength), eagle rods, tomei gaskets, drop in cams Kirk greddy or tomei, n1 oil pump, oem water pump, 044 fuel pump, 720cc injectors and your good for 500whp. Less than $15k I'm sure, with machine shop labour. It wont be expensive Unless your engine is wrecked and you need parts. Most of us use these parts and they're fine. Eagle rods are some $600 and carrillo are $1000+. If you won't see a $50k+ build, the carillos are overkill. ReallyNo build thread.
