I've done the exact same thing, always nice to run a 33 block.

You and me both! I've been dropping all my money on this car. Shell be with me for quite some time tho. As soon as its back on the road I have everything all set to drop at my buddy's body shop to clean and strip the complete car and lay some fresh championship white off a jdm integra type r

well I went from looking at your mod list after seeing the 500+hp... and thought stock block??
after reading 3 pages.. I wanted to skip to the last and it seems like you blew your motor?
IMO its not all about power.. if you want big numbers you have to do it smart.. build it right or buy a car thats able to... Just saying that bc I have seen so many ppl wanting huge numbers with stock internals and end up paying the price for it and learning the hard way :S

non the less beautiful R32 and cant wait to see it complete..

My real question for the pros not just the ppl who talk bs on the forums, just the people with real knowledge > Safely, how much AWHP can the stock block make safely?

The new r33 block setup will be tuned for around 425 hp and the old motor is going to get fully built up with a t78 single Im thinking. It's nice having all the grunt but not if it breaks every week. Just looking to stay conservative and really dual in the suspension setup now!

Yes! plenty of updates I haven't posted in a while so this will be a long one! The car has been on the road a few months now and what a difference. The r33 engine run 10 times better then the tired old 32 setup. I used arp studs , cometic head gasket, and ended up doing cometic intake manifold and tb gaskets as well( After the engine was installed what a PITA) threw some tomei cam gears and replaced alot of hoses and whatnot. After getting it going it was running very rough and im not sure how but the igniter and cas went bad after replacing them runs 100 percent. Im only running about 9psi at the moment and it runs very smooth and I don't have to worry about breaking anything. Hoping to have all the body work done in the up coming months it needs it bad. In the mean time I imported a jdm 93 rx7 type r with 50k original miles that I thought id get away daily driving for a while as it was low miles and "supposedly" stock. Pick the car up from port it had alot of mods not disclosed but ran well and fired right up despite being sitting not started. Well 30 miles down the road it spit its apex seals out so that is now this years "rebuild " project. Here is a bunch of pics of putting her back together and a few of the rx7!

                      • Thanks! All of the pics the camber is too negitive, since these pics I bought a new set ams fuca and corrected it as well as 5mm spacers in the front to even out the wheels. I am REALLY itching for an aggressive set of work equips. I wish the RPF1 had a offset that would work with the FD but sadly they are a bit too aggressive for it.
