    Small update.

Recieved my new Apexi downpipe and have a new test pipe ready to go on.

Hopefully with these parts and a boost controller I can be in the 12s. Did a 13.6 last year with stock boost (0.65bar) catback exhaust and a slippery track. Now running 1 bar with the downpipe and test pipe I am expecting a bit more power.

Also installed a pair of Aerocatch hood pins. They look clean and are lockable. I will be removing the stock hood latch assembly.

    Measure 15x, cut once

Hey man, good to see that those parts showed up. Hypothetical question: How many cases of beer would someone have to give you to help them change a roasted transmission?

          Big update

Donk and I traded GTRs. Now I have a real project car. Need to finish up the fuel system and oil system on this car before it can run and then it's dyno time.

For those of you that don't know his car, here is his build thread

I will be installing a R324 kit which will cover the previous body damage on the rear fender. It should be quite the car when it is done.

Here it is now, waiting for me to work on it in my garage.

Not straight up, we made a deal where he keeps his hard pipe kit, seats, exhaust (he likes his tip better) swapped wheels (he likes his volks and I like my advans) and he can keep any body pannel that I won't use with my kit, to sell or keep or do whatever he wants with them.

In the end he gets a mechanically sound GTR with brand new paint and CF parts and I get a rolling shell with a new engine that needs to be completed. Should have it on the road with the new body by next spring, not going to be rushed.

Took off the fenders and decided to post a picture of the pannels mocked up. I think it would look deadly in black.

Hmm, so I imagine you won't be using those advans when the body is done then?

I think I will be, but I will need 30mm spacers for the rear and 10mm for the front I believe. I will run them until I can afford some proper offset wheels.

                          Nice bump

mwracing will be installing my body kit. I just delivered the car to them yesterday for install and paint. I will be going white on white. The wheels will be refinished to match the car. Should look killer when it's done.

I will be checking this thread for updates as well
