Nice job! I'm suprised you went to the lenghts of cutting and re-welding on the rear panels! I'm just going to cut into the body panel, make new brackets and then cut the Beer kit to fit.

good call m13... if the car is a project for the owner as its a paid project for the shop it should be a priority to get it done and out the door.. 1 to get them fully paid and 2 so they can push the quality and speed of their work....

yo man, ive been reading this thread since day one... very very cool. I have a lot of respect for you taking on a project of this scale, and man you must have a pretty qualified bodyshop behind it. I am currently a second year apprentice at a Collision Body Shop here, and ive seen many a quarter panel swap, but never from a different car..i am very much looking forward to this, looks liek its gonna be a killer!

Well, do you have an completed R34 conversion thread that I can read then? prob not. These threads are not just here for other people's benefit, there also here for the writer, for other people to help with the progress, like mine.... I post when I have a chance to work on it; and other people that don't consider it as wasting 15min of their life are kind enough to give helpful hints, not jab at people for not entertaining them enough:hit newb:

Yes but why have a thread if there is nothing to see. Why not just open one when it is done. The idea is to show the progress and share with the rest of us the trials and tribulations that occur along the way to the finished project is it not?

very true. but when your bodyshop is too busy to keep the project going at a stead pace... there wont be pics to update from time to time.
