Thanks guys! I'll be tinkering on in as soon as it warms up a bit. I don't have a heated garage......

I'll clean up some things before I take a video
What I have left to complete this stage of building is....

-Build a steering wheel spacer so the horn fits
        -fix the signal lights
-get the fuel controler working properly
        -replace the rear quarter glass
        -alignment
-one more piece of sheet metal for the truck + waterproof it.
        -re-route fuel tank vent
-extra bracket for the MBC brace

Does anyone have experience with signal lights? What I've done (which hasn't worked) is hook the wires from the stock signal lights into the R34 park lights. I think it hasn't worked cause I might need to get a different type of bulb.

For the fuel tank controller, I think the problem is the RPM signal I took from the ECU. The manual said I might need a converter of some type depending on my vehicle. Anyone???

        • I'll post more pics soon, I'm just spending most of my time getting ready for the open drift night on June 25th. I will be installing my Lexon windows this weekend, and installing the HKS AWD Controller. Then my Oil cooler shortly after.

I'll post pics after the weekend. I promise

After the drifting event I will finally have a video to post as well!

Oh and an update on my fuel pump controller, I had the correct signal wire for the RPM, but I had used the wrong power wire from the stock fuel pump relay.... It works great now!

And thanks to Paul at Performance Wise for the parts! I've got new signal lights to install now, among other things!

              Thanks!

I'm going to upload more pics, I completed the Lexon side windows, and part of the oil cooler relocation kit.

Also won best in class, and best at the show at Mill's Nissan's Show and shine on Sat!

First here are some shots of the completed trunk

                  Interior shot

                  Engine shot

                  Exterior shots

Shots of the Completed Tinted Lexan Side windows

It took about 4 hours a window, heres the steps of removing the old windows

This is what cause my window to crack, I removed the stock seat belt and my buddy was tighting the bolt back in(now used for the roll cage) and because the bolt was made for the seatbelt as well it was too long and it shattered the glass

                  Pealing off the molding

Ive already scraped off the old window sealer

Here is a shot of the trim, It took 1 to 2 hours to remove all the pieces of glass stuck in the trim (to re-use it), if I would have known how big of a job it was, I would have bought new trim

A quick pic of using a hammer to smash out the other window

Here's the roll of goop to hold the window inplace, and keep the water out, I had to use screw to fasten it inplace because of the curves, it would have popped out. I had to use screws (I pre-drilled and resessed the holes) because riviots would have put too muc pressure on the lexan and would have cracked it.

Test fitting, DO NOT remove the protective cover untill you have to, it scratches really easy

                  Holes drilled and sealer applied

Here's how it looked the first time....like ****.... You could see the unpainted body and the sealer

So I ripped it out and started again.....

                  more to follow

                  Comment

                  • So I cleaned all the **** off, threw the window in the garbage and painted the body

Then held up the piece and you could still see the sealer too much. So I gave my head a shake (it was 3am) and realized it would be wayyyyy easyer just to paint the lexan....should have done that first

shot of painted body with sealer back on

Again final shot with the paint on, I will be doing the back window next, but I'm going to build some stiffners first cause the lexan will be too floppy without it.

Next I finally wired and install some Nismo Smoked Signals

Next project is to install an engine torque dampner and us it for an oil cooler relocation kit mount

I bought one for an R33 so I cut it, re-welded it and made it fit. Before welding....

                    after welding...

Thats it for now, I've got to fab up some brackets to mount the oil cooler, and it would be nice ifMartin would send me those pics of his brackets, I've got an idea of what I want to do, but more opions are nice....
As long as I dont have to work today, I heading to Castrol to go drifting tonight, so cross your fingers and hope that I dont have more repairs to do after
