      LONG TIME NO UPDATE!!!

Here is what I've been doing for the pass couple months. More to come after I upload the photos.

Here is my rear suspension set up.
      S13 non-hicas subframe
      Bings Solid subframe bushings
      SPL Rear upper control arms
      SPL Rear toe arms
      SPL Rear traction rods
      Nismo Rear Lower control arms
      Custom spherical Bearings

      Nismo arms!!!

Assemble with freshly poweder coated subframe

      On a shoping cart

      Double Hybrid Heim Joint

      Rear knuckle:
      Spherical bearing pressed in
      Sand blasted

      Close up of the bushing:

      Ebrakes and hubs installed

Here is the front suspension set up.
      R32 GTS cross member
      R32 GTS power steering rack
      Nismo Rear Lower control arms
      SPL Tension rod
Feast Auto SPL Front upper control arms
      Custom steering knuckle

      Powder coated!!

And I realize I can't use GTS crossmember on a GTR so here we go on the modification. The picture will explain it all. After the modification of the frame rail, the caster should increase a little help helping the steering return.

      Steel Plate:

      Semi finished product.

3/4" steel tube go through the whole rail to reinforced the mounting point so the top of the rail doesn't collapse when I tighten it.

Brakes set up arrived to my supplier. Pic taken before it's way to Canada:
      Brembo 6pot monoblock
      380mm 2pcs rotors
      teflon lines

      Brembo 4pot monoblock
345mm 2pcs rotors with drum hat
      teflon lines

      Front

      Rear

I am going to remove ABS and run a custom non-abs R34-GTR Brake master. Also a Tilton proportioning valve.

And some wheels for the massive brakes.
      SSR professor SP1
18x10 +3 Mid disc (will probably need a 8mm spacer)
      18x11 -1 Low disc

      rear

That's it for now. More will come if I am not lazy tomorrow.

Charles, build looks amazing man! loving the attention to detail here. Btw are the SSR Prof's you got the same offset as GTR-J's?

Feast SPL..probably the same as KTS. I bought them because they have Japanese bearings.

                          • The S13 rear subframe bolts right into the R32 with no modifications, if my research is correct? This allows you to use all S13 rear multi-link as well? What front coilover setup are you using? Still sticking with the R32 suspension design or do you have a setup more like the S13 (no FUCA) planned?

                            • Yes, the S13 subframe works on R32, however, the GTR studs are too long so I machined some spacer for it to fit.

I am using GTR front shocks on GTS front suspension assembly. I am going to keep the double wish bone set up.

                              • Update:

Subframe is installed. everything is in a rush so I have no pic during the installation. Here is how the car sit with the TE37. No brakes where installed yet.
The TE37 is for sale btw. $2500 new colour or $2300 as is!!!

How the engine sits before the pipe reinforcement.

                                -Aragosta Standard coilover.
I probably need another lower control arms to fixed the roll center since the car is low.

Rollcage is kinda half done. Still missing couple more tubes
                                Still needs:
                                - rear diagonal bar.
                                - rear lower bar.
                                - X door bar.
                                - front top bar.
                                - Gussets

Also thanks Fortress Fabrication for the work.
