car has changed quite a bit. a thought an update was needed.

                new work vs-sd wheels.

this way i can run ALOT less camber and i can road trip without worrying about my tires unbeading.

pics of so. sorry its REALLY dirty.

also i ordered a couple things on ebay. NOT ebay quality tho.

NRG quick release. I LOVE THIS THING.

got a window scraper for xmas and it broke first day. it had a purdy grip.

also new suede shift boot with blue stitching.

                pics of so:

and while i was at it i ordered some stickers. just for fun :P (charlie sheen adds 10hp btw)

next is less camber. body work, and fix whatever issue i have with power.

                  soo i have low compression.

                  125 across the board.

                  any ideas?

we poured 1/3 cup of oil in one and compression was then 155. <good.

so my rings are probably ****. only thing i dont get is i thought when rings were bad they didnt wear even. all cylinders have equal compression.

Did u do the compression test when the engine was up to temperature? Having a cold engine it will read low

yes. we even did a sea foam treatment.

at running temp it was like 129-130-131

makes perfect sense tho considering i have hella fuel in my oil.

                      • well got a few parts this past week. ALL NEW!!

ill go straight to pictures. nobody ACTUALLY likes reading lol

few boxes of stuff i have installed or havent quite yet.

I installed a BLOX water temp pipe. Shiny Red.

polished all the injector caps and replaced all the really gay philips bolts with allen key ones. (i recommend anybody with rb25 do this)

and now for the good stuff.

52mm aem boost and wideband gauges. also got a a pillar pod from 4xTOYS

heres my dp welded for wideband

HKS turbo timer and custom made a gauge plate for my gauges (waiting on these)

and now for oil filter relocation install.

Engine side. Company that makes this is BLOX. very nicely machined piece.

                        Filter side.

                        new -10 Russell fittings.

painfully spun/pushed on the one side of the fitting.

this one wasnt a Russell. (they only had 3) i had to use the rachet.

                        finished it. it looks awful

never took pics of the Russel ones. but they turned out great and i could use a wrench.
one is longer for the one on bottom.

                        lines all on

there. oil filter on. the bracket doesnt work so well tho. im gonna make one.

thats all for now. i have a bunch of stuff in the mail still i will post update when i receive those.

                          • Is putting the wideband senor that close to the turbo good for the sensor? When I installed mine it said to be installed something like 36 inchs away from turbo and its suppose to be closer with a n/a setup. I dont know for sure but i think the sensors burn up when there that close.

its recommended to put 12-18 inches away but they didnt send me a stainless bung. so i mounted it where i will be eventually cutting of the dp for top mount turbo. ive seen shops mount them 5 inches away with no issue. im not worrying about it.

if it burns then i guess ill replace and learn. but ive never heard of anyone having an issue that close.
