So I got my new turbos cleaned up and transferred over the oil and coolant lines:

And picked up my rocker covers and headers/elbows from powdercoating/ceramicoating:

So will clean up the bay and re-installing! Wanted to do the turbos too, but don't have gasket sets and didn't feel like taken them apart, budget for this year is used up too. Maybe next year...

Power goal is about 375-400 HP this year with a safe tune, 500-550 next year with proper tune, bigger injectors, fuel pump, fpr, bigger intercooler. I am getting Impact Coatings to do my powder and ceramic coating.

Got the turbos out, took about 6-8 hours of fiddling and cursing all told. Didn't need all that skin either.

Gonna start cleaning and transfering all the oil and cooling lines, hardware etc., coatings should be done soon, then re-install everything. Turbos, manifolds and downpipes up for sale - see FS thread.

I found the turbos easier to remove that the intake plenum. If I recall, I disconnected the downpipe, oil/coolant hoses, then the turbos from the manifolds, then the manifolds came out. The turbos and outlets came out last. What's your power goal? Who's doing your coatings? I haven't found a shop that does powder crinkle finishes. As for vipec, I hope you ordered a V88.
