Really? The level of scrutiny that you guys have on these decisions are better left for something worthwhile. You guys are killing me.

Obviously, you know nothing of the difference between the two different HKS T51 exhaust manifolds. The T4 flange manifold is FULLY DIVIDED with a dual to single 60mm wastegate dump. The v-band flange manifold is a FULLY OPEN design with a single 60mm wastegate dump (that also happens to have the turbo flange sit about an inch lower (I need all the clearance I can get!). There was no reason to do some cut and botch job on a fully divided manifold to attempt to open it up and weld on a v-band flange. Sorry, but I like easy and that didn't appear to be one bit easy.

I didn't purchase the v-band HKS manifold new. I got a full turbine set (T51R Kai, v-band manifold, HKS 60mm GT wastegate) for about $2500 USED. I sold the POS turbine to one of the Japanese tuner shops here in Okinawa and then sat on the HKS T4 manifold and extra wastegate until someone showed interest. LuckyGTR needed the parts so I sold them to him for a fair price. I seem to have come out about even with the manifold swap by purchasing the entire kit and selling the parts I didn't need.

Here's some eye candy for you:

I think it flows plenty good at 900-1000HP which is what it was designed to support on the top end. It will be more than adequate for Luc's 550HP setup.

Oh yeah, I am running the exact same setup (except v-band flange version) on my GTR right now with a Bullseye S375R turbo at 2.2 bar boost and just twisted off both front axles from an 8000rpm launch (9500rpm redline). Once again, I think the flow potential is there.

Besides, the setup was used and the price was decent. FullRace plus Tial wastegates is twice the price and Luc decided (smartly, I might add) to go with the newer technology in the turbo vice the manifold and wastegate(s) where he would have seen minimal gains, if any.

omg leespin u making a fool of yourselft , first of all iam a ******* quebeckois that not even suppose to speack english cuz i come from FRENCH quebeckoi and no one in my family actualy speak decent english and at same time i have abuild tread in english speaking wit u guyz and trying my facking best !

2.tread here is not bad alot of quality part wit no corner cut for a stock block (rods piston crank oil pump) r34 all the supporting mods are there and we gonna have a new experiance wit gtr since that size of turbo of that compagny never went on any RB yet

so if i was u i would just enjjoy the 6 speed swap(wit diff) + single turbo conversion and all the other thing happening for this season

on the other side of the thing

    dyno coming soon

missing 2 part and ready to build back the engine !

    cheers

tx dj no problem , i will never swap turbo after i have this one if i swap turbo is gonna be a full vand turbo + a new manifold annyways

ill buy another mormon flange and we gonna use it for my down pipe

I doubt I would need to. as runner length decides curves. so its "find what suits you."

tial waste gates are Much newer units with more R&d behind them.. that hks unit is a dinosaur. (still works the same.. just different alloys and a more efficient design flow/space used wise)

not trying to argue. just a simple question.

ahh. well hey thats not a bad deal! congrats. Hope it works out for ya.
