Well small update.

After the car got tuned and the boost cranked up the motor decided it did not like it. I was doing a 1/4 mile run the motor let go. Just started to knock.

So it sat the rest of the summer but now its time to rebuild.

Starting with a N1 block and a Tomei RB28 stroker kit all thanks to Fastest Lap Motorsport.

Sweet! When did you order the tomei kit? Long wait I bet Why didn't you rebuild the current engine (or fix what might be a simple issue) and dump the $7000+ into other mods? What turbo you planning to run? Precision 6262?

Honestly an rb30 shorty would get you more jam while being close to the same price. I often regret not goin rb30

Edit: who built your engine anyway? Har you had a Jane to talk with them and see if it was an assembly error?

I have another project car on the go that i can use a rb26 for. So i figured i will build a monster motor for the GTR and then fix the other motor and put it in my other car. 500whp in the other car will be good.

I bought the car with the built motor. No need to go after any one. I will just fix it and move on. Half the time it more of a hassle especially with modified cars to open a warrenty claim.

I am going to stick with my -5's for now and i am working on another turbo setup to be announced at a later date.

Anyway, sounds like a sick plan, I guess I'm just trying to encourage someone to go crazy where I should have haha.

Any plans on what tuner? Do tell what you find as the rb26 failure I'm curious to know as there's been many Canadian gtr failures over the years..
