So I've been busy for the last little while patching up my baby and have actually made some progress, lol. For starters I tackled the almighty task of replacing the clutch. I've done a few GTS's before, but the GTR is a lot more involved. Luckily I'm an auto tech and have unlimited free use of my hoist at work which made it much easier to accomplish. At the same time I had the tranny out I took a look at the decrepit exhaust and sat and scratched my head for a while trying to figure out how I could install new studs into the turbo dump pipes without ripping the damn thing apart. I came up with the idea of just welding new studs onto the old ones, must have had a horse shoe up my ass cause it worked! So now I finally have a functional divorced downpipe that doesn't leak. Slapped the tranny back in and carried on to bleed the ATTESSA and bolt everything back up. All this killed a weekend.

Next I moved on to the coilovers. This part of it made me stand back and say to myself WTF?!?! All 4 were set at different heights and tensions. No wonder the car drove like a shitbox. To compound the issue even more, all the upper camber arms were set differently. "This thing is a ******* mess!" I thought to myself as I shook my head in disbelief. So after 2 days of tweaking and more tweaking I finally have useable footwork that doesn't want to send me swerving off the road to my death.

Took a good long look under the hood and was only mildy disappointed. Lots of bolts not tightened down, some just spun in a few threads, idle screw was set to 2000rpm, throttle cable wasn't even bolted down (have no idea how I got this thing home like that), battery was sitting loose, A/C belt frayed and ready to take out the other belts, ABS module is leaking, P/S pump is almost puking, and a strange "chirping" sound on a cold start but goes away when at operating temp.
    Spent a day here.

Moving on to the interior, I noticed right away the HVAC doesn't work properly. It is stuck on defrost, I can change the temp but not the mode, bummer. My car also has an Impul cluster and the low fuel light is constantly on, even when full, lol. I haven't had a lot of time to spend here yet, mainly have my in dash DVD and boost gauge installed for now. The car was missing the center console gauges as well as the mounting brackets for the radio so I fabbed up a pair of temporary mounts for my DVD till I can find the OEM mounts for it. Also installed my Momo steering wheel, the stock GTR one felt like a bus steering wheel in my hands. Shampooed the front seats and carpet so she's clean, rears look like they've never been sat in.

Overall I'm still happy with my Godzilla, been frustrating at times but well worth it when I mash the throttle and let her scream.
Gawd I hate to love this car!

Future plans are to obviously turn up the boost, install aftermarket turbo dumps, tires, brakes, and find some GTR front seats or some racing buckets, haven't decided yet.

Good to hear you have sorted some of the issues. Keep it up man, don't get down on yourself or the car. Once it's done you'll look back and say you've come along way and be able to enjoy the car that much more. I know personally it's been hard not driving for such a long period of time but when the car is done I know it will be a beast and I will not only be happy to drive it but I definitely will learn alot along the way! You will definitely enjoy it, just keep up on the maintenance and you'll be doing good.

Also just my opinion but if you can stick with the Gtr seats. They are nice enough and won't cost you an arm and a leg. Aftermarket seats unless your a twig will be tougher to fit in.
Miss driving sooooo bad! Need to get a car on the road ASAP!

Cool, thanks man! We should get the Edmonton peeps together for a cruise sometime, I'm not into the 780 scene.

So I tried to sell my Nismo gmax twin plate clutch and the buyer said because he couldn't resurface non serviceable pressure plates, it was warped and no good and returned it to me at my expense for shipping. Whatever, I now have it back. Did some research and low and behold, it is practically still new after a thorough inspection. Too bad he coulda got a $1900 clutch setup for dirt. Anyways, nuff of that.
So, I'm on the hunt for a pair of gmax clutch disks as I plan on reinstalling it in my car. I loved how freely the engine revved with this thing in, the Nismo flywheel is almost half the weight of a stock rb26 flywheel.

I've changed my username to Voodoo_ChildR32, no more feyd182 lol.

I've been busy working on my baby, lots of work done. Fixed suspension, four wheel alignment, gauge install, fuel pump rewire, repaired windshield, painted timing and coil covers, LED front markers, replaced HID bulbs, replaced accessory belts, recharged A/C, installed amp for subs, and split loomed engine bay wiring.
Just a few things, lol. Pics and more details coming soon as well as a few donations to team Voodoo.

New bits arriving soon, compliments of my employer. Shop has been doing very well as of late and he offered to help my build in exchange for some publicity when I'm out in my car.
Anyways, on to the good stuff. Greddy Emanage with ign and injector harness, divided turbo dump pipes, Bee-r rev limiter, Hallman manual boost controller.
Gonna be fun making all this stuff work, lol.

Yea, I was quite surprised. Apparently he's taking us (other techs and myself) to SEMA this November as well. I love my job!

Well, got the first wave of parts in. A bee r rev limiter, hallman manual boost controller and a pair of divorced turbo dump pipes.
Got the Bee R installed last night, just gotta delete my cat and I'm ready for fire, lol. Tried a couple of hits on the limiter and made a few bangs so she's working properly. Pics to come soon.

                              Bee R Rev limiter:

                              Greddy E Manage Blue:

All that's left is the injector and ignition harnesses and she's ready to tune.

Emanage mounted and main, ignition, and injector harnesses connected. I set up a basic airflow map for now and can already feel a difference. The car feels much stronger having a map and my boost turned up to 12psi. I also eliminated the factory cat and set my Bee R limiter to 5000rpm with gain set to "A" or 10. She makes quite the bang, lol. My main goal is a 400hp daily driver, if anyone has any maps to share or advise I'm all ears.
