It depends, your not useing a RB motor so you dont have to ues a RB transmission. you can ues one of the ones listed
but if you want to use the RB, the shape of that adaptor is the same but I dont think all the bolts will line up. but it's easier to drill some new holes then to fab a new adaptor. but by the time you ad taxes and shipping I think I could have one made here (in ont) cheaper.
for cash, mabey 3 -5 hundred. some reading material I found on nissan bellhousings

Looking to cut'n'shut a Datsun L-series bellhousing onto a Nissan S15 6 speed gearbox.
I'm intending to make up a jig consisting of a mandrel that bolts through the main bearing caps of a spare block and continues through to the input shaft bearing / bearing recess in the bellhousing to keep it all aligned. The L-series bit
great info Dark_sky, thanks man
maybe its posible to keep the 4wd. how do I do it?? no utube conversions with transfercases.
will I loose power???
making an adaptor seams cheaper, specialy with all the tool and die shops around here.

If you want acceleration, might be an idea to consider building something like a catherham.
when ever I get a garage I really want to build one and the thought of building an electric one did cross my mind.
An alternative to lithium, gel batteries, they are heavier tho. A couple of years ago I worked for a Canadian Tire, and we had a new owner that took it over. For the sale we had to do an inventory of everything with there value. The Parts departement had about 36 wheel chair gel batteries for some reason I have no clue why so many. (might sell 1 every 6 months) So they where scrapped and I still regret not buying them at the time could have gotten all of them for next to nothing. Well I guess that is part of being a student strap for cash If you have battery place around your place that have old stock with bad turn over they might make you a deal
At that price level did you check for the price of battery pack of hybrid car. (Like civic etc
Anyway good luck man, if it wouldn't be for winter I'd have an electric car in my driveway right now.
thanks man..your right I should look at other battery options. I used to work with heavy equipment(skyjacks). when one or two battery's go, all 6 have to be disposed. maybe I can find out where they go.

still dont get "volt pack"...oh well still learning
catherham interesting...
still want to go electric..theirs got to be away to bring down the cost..
I know and old guys around here, I know he's cheep but he did it to 2-3 cars and trucks. just no power...I think I'll call him up

The WarP 13 is typically used in larger weighted vehicles, or when insane amounts of torque are required. For a race car, such as your project, I would recommend a Trans WarP 9, coupled with another WarP 9 motor. We carry both these motors, and the drive line coupling needed.
The batteries are a major consideration when designing your vehicle. For short races, you'll want a battery pack with high Amp Hour rating (Ah), for top speed you'll want a pack with a high max voltage. There are several ways to configure your pack to customize the battery performance.
An electric motor is around 90% efficient, and so their HP ratings are very different. Example, a WarP 9 motor, which could easily rival a 235 HP vehicle instead is rated at 28 horse power. Something to consider...
I'd go for the NetGain Industrial controller, rated to 1400 Amp controller.
If you haven't already, check out John Metric's work here, or here. In the title of your email you asked for a kit quote. For an ambitious project such as this we don't have a ready kit, and the battery designing will be entirely up to you.
I hope this gets you off to a good start. Let me know what else I can help you with.
