    Thanks very much.
What color and size are your rims? Are they Polished or Silver by chance?
I think there are 3 or 4 GTRs and a Silver GTS4 that i know of. The only "rare around here" color is my friends dark blue GTR... and he wanted to change its color

There are alot of beat on junker GTRs and GTSs in Edmonton. Its sad really. Everytime i see a Skyline here I get excited... then i realize its a GTS... and its beat to ****. Take for example the red(?) GTR with paw prints painted on it parked in Chinatown. or the countless Skylines in Edmonton with their exhaust hanging down or completely loose (one had visible bailing wire holding the muffler just off the ground. Oh! And there was that one kid with his bumper hanging off except for some duct tape.

Greg with the white GTR at Subracing and Levi's blue GTR are good examples of semi-stock well kept local cars. Damiens car doesnt count as i have never seen it run I dont know many other skyline owners locally as everyone of them i have tried to talk too has been a young punk with a shitty attitude and their hat on sideways... there should be an minimum age limit or maturity level before they allow someone to buy these cars.

Donk - We gotta talk! I should have my car back in a couple of weeks and would love to show you what yours will feel like when it gets back on the road.

Sorry to hear about your car, Money Pit is right... that's why we stopped our project after spending about 10K in parts + labour with just bolt on parts!

I have almost exactly the same amount of money in parts as i had paid for my GTR 8 months ago. Anyone wanting to know what i paid for parts or where to get some pieces i will help where i can.

The wheels are 17x8's and they have a polished lip and a glossy grey center, I don't know how to really explain it. I'm picking up the car from 4kruzn. Oh well, 3 or 4 GTR's is better than about a billion of the gunmetal ones you see It is too bad to see so many of the **** condition ones in town. I could have cheaped out and bought one of those 10K GT-R's a year ago but I decided to take more time and buy one that will actually last. Not gonna say it's a 25K GT-R, but it is in great shape for a driver. Good paint, mechanically sound, relatively stock, and clean.

And I agree with the maturity comment about owners. There's a kid on my street who just picked up a GTS-4 and wouldn't shut up about it, acting like it's god's gift to earth. He even told me they were faster than GT-R's because they're lighter, then when I told him I was picking up a GT-R and suggested we have a race he shut his mouth pretty quick. I use the word "kid" sparingly for this guy because he's actually 3 years older than me, but a little bit lacking in the maturity department.

I'm actually only 19 and my GT-R is going to be my first car. I think it'd be fun to meet up and check out your car, maybe prove your thoughts about young skyline owners wrong

Exactly, you should meet up with Dan and I, donk. His car is in great condition, and coming off a fresh rebuild with similar specs to yours as well.

                Dan, you're a still youngin'.

Sounds like a plan. Trying very hard to be ready for the western skyline meet. Im assuming you guys are going?

Prob have to drive down on milk crates and no hood at this rate...

                    I'll be heading down.

Hope your car is ready, but even if it isn't you should come down anyhow. The club is the people. Passion for Skylines is the common thread.

                    Cheers,

Its not a very exciting color, but I've grown to like it. Its hard to even tell that I have a cf hood with this color, strange.

The silver and gunmetal GTRs are probibly the most common or popular colors.

Get your act together Donk! You need to make the skyline event. I might need a ride!

Nismo / Tomei order came in today from Akira @ RISE PERFORMANCE. Great guy to deal with and prices are mint. Highly recommend him. :-D

Engine is built, but again, waiting on this and that. Having a bit of a disagreement with the company building it but thats another story. :hit_head:

Color matched the MTX Amplifier this weekend as it was on my "to-do" list. So its nice and bright silver now.

In the works of ditching the Volks but i will keep that under wraps until i can show the new ones off. :-o

Desynz head oil return kit should be here this week along with a Greddy order... :-)

Then its wait time! (like its been for the last 8 months....) :hit_head:

Tin basher is supposed to come by soon to work his magic on the body...

Again, bloody money pit! And i havent even touched the brakes or suspension past the coilovers yet.

there is a million things i could do still but i have had to literally tell myself to stop and reign in the build as it could spiral into $75,000 pile of parts! ops:
