going to get the tomei electronic hicas cancel box? I hear it just piggybacks and cancels the steering input signal so it tracks straight at all times, and is fully reversible if I'm not mistaken.

He is keeping hicas. Nissan put it there for quicker turn in above 80km/h, its a handling aid. I don't understand why people get rid of it. It makes a more responsive car.

Because it causes a lot of oil leaks, finicky handling just driving the car around on streets, and adds a lot of weight.

PS: Did you know the Stern wheels on your car were originally offered from the factory on Saleen mustangs in the late 80's?

I did a pretty good search of late 80s Saleen mustangs, some did have 5 spoke rims but none appeared to have stern 3 piece rims.

If these are the rims you are talking about, they look similar but are not the same. Def not 3 piece.

Neat, maybe some mustang owner will pay me a mint for them :-D

Can a mod split this topic to keep the thread on toipic? Thanks

                        Hey Biotches!

Car is NOT done. Slow Spring / Early Summer in the oilpatch this year so the car sat for 3 months collecting dust.

Needs about 16 hours of labour, FPR, fuel lines and she is good to go. Work should commence again next month. That would make it a YEAR since I last drove the car.

STILL HAVE THOSE ghey BRONZE RIMS. Cant believe no one wants to trade me.

They are Volk TE37 17x9 with 20mm backspacing. As the pics show. They are the proper fitment for a GTR.

I will trade for a high/equal spec 5 / 6 spoke, chrome, silver, black rim. Ideally a set of LMGT4 rims but whatever. I have considered all rims offered so far. Not interested in Advans and they dont have to be JDM.

Please dont think im gonna trade for a set of Canadian Tire chrome plated steel rims though

Any option to sell the rims?? I'll trade mine, be warned though, they are all bent up!?!j/k

I went to Subracing for a tune and dyno last Thursday, drove all the way down from Fort McMurray, up into their lot, and Blain came out to tell me his lap top crashed and they could not find the registration number to reinstall FC commander pro. But he forgot to call me before I headed out, and could only book me back in on August 30th at the earliest, otherwise he could not help me. I was quite disappointed. So, I'm going to shop around I think, and make a decision as to where I'll take it now.

Try AFI Performance. They are very good. Older guys and hands on experience.
