If the block is damaged wouldn't it be cheaper to find a rb26 for $1.5k or so (not sure what rb26's go for, but I know rb20's with tranny goes for like 1k)?

yes that is true but than you have a stock r32 rb26 that still has oiling problems. and has the potential to get knock again. where as you spend the 4 grand right and you fix your oiling problems and you will have some piece of mind and a strong reliable motor. just my 2 cents1991 Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R: 710whp 521 ft/lbs 27.5psi 11.8 @126mph low boost
