Cheapest/easiest fuel pump set up for 800hp?

I remember reading about that setup and the good power... he now has a drysump on his street legal car haha so a crazy fuel system isn't all that crazy. If I could weld, I'd have a fuel cell in place of the OEM plasticfantastic tank.

Anyway, while I have the budget, my fuel flow limiting tomei pump has to be upgraded. I decided to make sure I have much more than just enough fuel rather than be limited by it. I'm not going for 500whp... If I could sell my nearly new -5s I'd go bigger as I heard they won't see 600whp. Anyway, I have a vipec with meth, with knockbox. The boost controlling is done in the vipec (don't know if that's a good thing... makes on the fly changes from low to high tricky...?)

GTR_Dad was making over 500whp on -5s with no water/meth injection, stock fuel line and Nismo FPR. No water meth injection either, just 94 octane husky fuel.

That being said, upgrading to the -6 line and 800cc Injectors would be plenty of fuel to make running out of water/meth safe. Might have been cheaper to buy yourself a boost controller that can react to problems and drop boost pressure on the fly.

Husky/Mohawk gasoline in Alberta is an ethanol blend. I'd rather have straight 94 octane gasoline but nobody sells it here. Still decent for making good numbers without water/meth on a GTR.

The water/meth would be good backup if you had to run a tank of 91 octane fuel if there wasn't a Husky/Mohawk nearby.

You guys still have Husky 94? You lucky bastards, I love that fuel. We lost it last year, best 94 I've ever run. The current offering at Chevron is better than it used to be but still not as good as what good old H/M 94 used to be.

I love ethanol, i wish E85 was sold here, you'd think in the tree hugger capital of Canada it would be. I'm going ahead with my 50/50 mix of methanol and Cheveron 94 this year, I hope the 1000cc injectors will be enough for 750hp.

I think I will get tuned on Shell 91 for the same reason. I have a 6 port water/meth injection system, so might as well use gas I can buy anywhere. The water/meth should let me run full boost no problem.

Depending who tunes you, if you end up real rich, it makes up for the fuel difference. I've put 87 octane in my lightspeed tune out of curiousity and it's wasn't 9.8 AFR rich anymore more like 11 haha. It was back when my engine was too "weak" (minty 20 year old) to make power with so it was going in the dumpster anyway.
