Not a reliable* 700. Lack of flow to 6 will cause issues.

do a lot of window shopping for each item online. and try source some in canada stores also(way cheaper on shipping).

not one place is going to have everything for the cheapest price.

Their in house stuff has some really nice pricing, details on the Hi Octane Racing RB30 4WD Short Block 1500HP:

Hi Octane Racing RB30 GTR engine

The ultimate upgrade for the serious GTR

This engine is the result of countless hours of research and development in both time attack and drag racing. The Hi Octane RB30 features a highly modified RB30 Nissan block with relocated oil galleries, an extensively cross braced girdle retaining structural integrity of all main bearing caps, along with the highest quality forged rotating components resulting in a BULLETPROOF bottom end that will make most RB26 engines look fairly lame. The big difference with the RB30 over the RB26 is the length of the stroke. While both engines retain the 86mm bore (86.5mm in our case) the RB26 has a 73.7mm stroke while the RB30 has an 85mm stroke. The result of this is a much higher production of torque and useable horsepower at a much lower RPM range resulting in FASTER LAP TIMES and BETTER DURABILITY and longer engine life. This is the very engine we use in the Hi Octane/ Advan R34 GTR and you can see it in action in this video. This was the vehicles first ever outing and is using small dash 5 turbos.

The specs of the Hi Octane RB30 are listed here, is ready to bolt in to any GTR*and we freight WORLDWIDE please contact us for a quote

                              none of the fun?

You could always look at things my way. I wanted to have fun buying parts rather than buy a build engine from a good source.

Going on my 2nd rebuild now (3rd engine, different shops) and I haven't seen 1500kms on any of them. Less than 1500km a pop failures were all assembly/machining faults. yes I should have bought a complete engine. I only wanted 500whp since my budget was $60k for a show car/week end track car. I went wrong when I bought high end parts and went to popular but mediocre shops.

Rips is nice but appears to be built for laggier/higher end power outputs than response. Bigger doesn't mean better in every way. A laggy 500whp is slower than a well built low/mid range 450whp.

Since you can afford a serious build, why not go Rips RB30? One of the best engines out there which costs only slighly more than a tomei 2.8L (about $12k vs $11k, bottom end only). I had planned on doing that for round 3 but I have too many parts I can't see (low interest in quality used parts), so I'm stuck with what I have.
