it's basically a metal wire coming out of the upper rad hose with silicone gasket securing any leaks. my friends eventually corroded from the wire and sensor and stopped working, I think his concentration was too high on coolant. Another alternative is buying a Radiator hose temp sensor adapter. they range around $25.00 - $50.00

The greddy one is a good one, or depo also.

Just tap into the factory temp sensor at the bottom of the rad for the AC. The switch temp is a bit high for my liking but, it can work. You could always replace the factory switch with an aftermarket one with a lower temp.....that's what I am going to do with mine.

It should work, u stick the probe in the rad, or the hose, it heats up and tells fan to come on, are u switching from oem clutch fan?

That's normal for the fan to crack like that, e fans are not as good, just b sure to keep your shroud and fan in case u want to switch back

E fans are better, just don't buy the cheap ass ones. My last 4 vehicles have had E fans. The GTR is the only one with a clutch fan and its going bye bye real quick. My 2011 Silverado has E fans, its rated to tow 11500 lbs.

I know, most new vehicles have e fans, they prob are better, my twin mishimotos don't keep it as cool as the clutch fan, and there's been a couple people who switched back for the same reasons, I'd like to change the blades on my fans, to something with a little more pitch, they are pretty flat, compared to the clutch fan. Or it may be because the clutch fan is always spinning, but the Efans only come on when up to temp, could always wire them to come on with ign

Yeah but if you wire it up with the ignition i hear that the fan wont last long
