      Yes, lots and lots of the strongest, red locktight went on the end of the stud that screwed into the block, and I think I even put a little on the block threads too!

      Are you doing it? Post some pics!

        Great write up, Ive always been a fan of re-purposing other oem parts. In alot of cases I trust those parts more than aftermarket ones as the factory ones have gone through many many hours of testing. Im not sure id feel comfortable with the oil lines hanging out under the front of thee car like you have them shown in the picture. If it were me id be constantly worrying about them getting damaged by debris, etc...im assuming this is on a road car? Other than that nice setup.
