Fuel wash down of the cylinder walls can cause increased wear due to the lack of oil film. That may be your issue. You best bet is to do a leak down test and compare #6 to the others and if you have a more increased leak to the crankcase you'll have to replace the rings.

Will do, going out atm to buy a cylinder leakage tester which should also tell me if it's losing pressure through the valves or rings. Thanks.

Just did a leakdown today, no leakage from the crankcase but rather from the intake valve, on number 6. Everything else in every other cylinder is fine fewf. Will have to pull the head again and inspect.

Yea, the way my setup is now it only takes around two hours to pull the head so not really a big deal. Just pulled it last night. My valves are fine, not bent, piston's are fine no contact at all between valve and piston, and cylinder walls aren't glazed. Looks to be I need to get my number 6 valves reseated, head pressure tested, and cleaned.

The question I had is whether I can reuse the Apexi metal headgasket I just installed. It only ran for about 5 minutes at idle and the gasket hasn't been crushed flat, still has the multi layer "spring" to it.

Just brought head to machine shop. Exhaust valves and intake valves weren't seating properly on number 6. Had them reseated and cleaned, pressure test now shows no leaks. Just ordered new Tomei HG and should be good to go!

Put head back on and did another leakdown, leakdown is good across all 6 cylinders now so problem seems to be resolved.
