Do you see the differences?? I SURELY DON'T

To all seriousness, R32 GTR rims are light because they are 16s. They are not that light in their size, but they are cheap though. To the OP, I don't see the point of spending 700 on new used wheels with no resale value where you can get a set of emotion used for $1000, drive it for a year n sell it back out for $1000.........

        Here: http://forums.gtrcanada.com/members-...res-52243.html

These would be perfect for your car, and would probably be cheaper than buying those garbage rims and then tires.

They would play off your car color (white) pretty well (if you like the white on white look). I was contemplating getting them but meh.

Then you take them to Panther Machinists in Surrey to have them refinised, and BAM you could have practically brand new Enkei's with good tires for a grand.

Like everyone's been saying... there's always a deal.

I picked up a set of 5zigens, they have some racing history, have been around for a while, I have never heard a bad review, and they come in awesome sizing good colours and really fair price i think.

Flame away about them if you want but they are a great wheel in my books.

i have a set of rotas, and a set of xxr 962s, the 962s worked fine, and havent shattered into a million peices, the rotas however, i was pissed off one day and clutch kicked a corner going to fast and smashed a curb with one, it broke, but i hit hard, caved a control arm and a toe arm in, i say go for em man, worst case you run em, save up and buy legit wheels.

5zigens, enkeis, gram lights all cost about the same and all will be much better than rotas lol

used is the best way to get good wheels cheap though

I REALLY want Gram Light 57 Optimise.. but like I said, i make like 350-400$ every two weeks and 120 of that goes into my insurance, 40 into my phone so all i have left is like 190-240$ left.. the cheapest i've seen for some nice wheels used that i actually liked is like 1000.
That would take 2 months. When in reality, i need the wheels pretty much asap.

and almost every wheel i find on craigslist has ridiculously stupid offset like +48 or something retarded. Who wants to run that? lol. Speaking of which, whats the offset that a GTS needs to clear the brakes in the front and back?

I would definately look for good used rims over new cheap stuff...I just found a set of 5zigen FN01RCs with 80% tread for under $600. From what I've seen, these rims aren't half bad.

it all depends on the spoke design as to whether it will clear the brake calipers

i liked my 5zigens, but i should have gone with a better offset, wheels were too sunken for my liking

How does this make sense? you make 350-400 every two weeks which is 700-800 a month. You only pay for your insurance and phone once a month right? so 700-160 = 540. Plus you probably spend like 50 bucks a week on gas so that still leaves you like 340 a month that you could save. Stop spending your money on bs and start saving for ballerness!

EDIT: **** I just read that you need them like immediately so I guess saving over a couple months is out of the question. Personally I think that if your not racing constantly (which I'm assuming your not because you'd be waaay more broke) then get what looks best for the cheapest buck. I'm sure you're not going to be very upset that you have an extra 20 pounds on your car if it looks good. Get rotas or xxr's for now and sell them later when you have more money and get some brand name baller! Good luck bro
