It's been a while and since I've posted anything but I got some stuff in the works so I thought I would make an up date. Just getting pics onto the computer right now.

Okay story time.

So everyone recommended that I change my O2 sensor to fix my harsh fuel consumption of only getting 200km to a tank. Well I ended up trying to remove the heat shield and bracket to make some room for me to get a wrench in there. Well I broke two bolts on the back of the turbo. So every thing had to come out.

Found this thingy in the pipe, not sure why its there but it's probably doing something important.

Of yeah, it sort of jumps from changing the rad/upgrading my cooling system to my turbo incident. I finished the radiator all a while back. I'll try and upload some pics of the Koyo installed.

So I have saved up and spent lots lately.

I dropped by my fabricator's shop to make my first payment on the RB20 Plenum he's making me. I found this sitting on his table.

She's gonna be sweet!!! Can't wait to see the finished product.

Anyway, I gotta get back to reseaching parts and turbos.

I thought the first time I saw that brush looking thing that someone broke a cleaning tool off inside the breather piping. I forget what that brush looking thing does in the breather piping, but it is important. Might have been to help keep the oil from entering intake piping when PCV valve closes and air reverses direction during transition too boost.

I hope you don't mind me asking, but how much was the Synapse Blow off valve and where did you buy it from???

Bought it off Kelaog for $240.00 with the flange.

It seems like the turbo -> dump pipe bolts always snap off. Just smother them in anti-seize and it will be all good.

A few more questions if you don't mind -

Are you happy with the Snapse BOV and any problems with install???

Also do you sort of recognise what flange the Snapse BOV needs when you fit Snapse BOV in stock location. Why I ask, as I'm not sure which flange it is on their website -

Click on products at the top, then synchronic BOV on dropdown menu. Then click on SB001 to see the flanges.

I guess, maybe a Mitsubishi flange, like the stock Mitsubishi BOV??

Also I presume that recirculation fitting for BOV is what was with BOV when you recieved it (shipped with BOV)???

Yep it's the Mitsubishi flange. And yes it has the recirc fitting on it. Not sure if it comes with it or what. I bought it off a friend and it was an open boxed item already.

I quite like it. It's extremely quick to respond. As soon as you tap the throttle the piston rockets closed and seals the valve completely. It's pretty neat to watch.

power steering squeel comes and goes depending on the weather.

I just bought a bench top polisher today, so now I can do all the polishing I want at home. Stay tuned for some pics of some polished parts to match my coil pack cover.

Waiting on some parts from Adam. As soon as they come in, my car will be off to the fabricators shop for the plenum fitment.

After taking the plenum off we realized the knock sensors weren't plugged in, causing our issues.
