I'm slowly getting there, cams are going in today *excitement ensues* (even though they're stock) LOL. My fuel rail should be going on this morning as well (if I could figure out the proper direction to put them in). There's a harness which connects IACV and 3 injectors to the rest of the injector harness...I can't remember if those go on the front 3 cylinders or rear 3 so, I will have some searching to do. I can't wait to put the turbo back on!!

hey, i'm 99 percent sure the 3 injectors that have their own little set of wires are cylinders 1,2, and 3. i'll double check the pics i took
EDIT: correction. i have no clue lol. i looked at my pics and that's what it looked like but then i went out to my car and there's nothing connected to anything lol
take some pics of what you've got! if nothing else then it'll be inspiration for me to get more moneys so i can finish my build!
and put up a couple pics of your interior! i wanna see what a 240 looks like inside in case i have to get one to replace the skyline!I've been brushing my teeth with jack but it's resulted in terrible amounts of tooth decay.

PICKTURZZZZZ!!!!
i was reading another guy's build thread and somebody mentioned that he should have his ECU tuned because he's got a lower temp nismo thermostat like yours. have you heard anything like that?I've been brushing my teeth with jack but it's resulted in terrible amounts of tooth decay.

i dunno, sounded weird to me. the computers have no control of the thermostat, not sure why he thought this.
i'm just curious if anybody else has heard this.I've been brushing my teeth with jack but it's resulted in terrible amounts of tooth decay.

For optimum efficiency you want to change it as the 15 degree drop in the thermostat will make a difference in the maps.
Also when your engine is running hot your engine dumps more fuel in to cool it down with a lower AFR.
Skym can confirm.

uhh actually the car is going to be running the richest when its cold, not at operating temp. I dont think the coolant temp sensor will have any bearing on the fuel maps, but rather will control whether the ecu is in open or closed loop operation. If I'm wrong somebody correct me.

You have to change the warmup fuel table, as it's tuned for stock thermostat that opens at 76.5 degrees, not 62.5 degrees like Nismo low temp thermostat. If coolant temp is not at 76.5 degrees, engine will still be running on the rich part of stock warmup fuel table until you drive car and get coolant temps up to 76.5 degrees.
A car with low temp thermostat, radiator, etc, sits near on 62.5 degrees at idle. It's slightly below halfway on stock coolant temp gauge.
It involves datalogging the wideband A/F ratio before and after starting when cold to workout how much fuel you need to add or remove to table to make engine start properly and run properly until it's at 62.5 degrees with low temp thermostat. It takes a couple of days with 2 x cold starts to get it near to correct. Tuner should have your car for few days to fix this area. Also ignition startup table might need to be modified if your car is modified from stock.
I think its the way I worded it that makes the statement confusing, my bad. I'll try to remember that for future post's.RESPONSE MONSTER
