hahaha thanks Mark! tomorrow's my day off so i'll snap a couple pics of what it looks like right now, and how the painted engine parts all look together. i've been averaging 48 hours a week at work so it's hard to get any time for skyrine.
good news! i just got enough funding to order some more parts and get some work done by the machinist. hooray for the no interest loan thanks to the bank of family! lol
now get some more pictures of your silvia dudezzz!
I've been brushing my teeth with jack but it's resulted in terrible amounts of tooth decay.

and here's what i've managed to make nicer!

painted the block and turbo manifold...

        yummy yummy bores!

and here's what i'll be using for a horn button since my steering wheel's one doesn't ground. anybody know what's behind that little square panel?

        my custom grounding kit

and my new strut bar! should i leave it orange?

        Gratuitous shot of my kitty!

Nada behind that square thing. Your best bet is to pull the cluster trim first because if you apply enough pressure on that black insert, it may very well push in lol. The have 2 supporting clips on the back, take 2 seconds to snap out. But ya, your horn should mount perfectly there!

Looks awesome man!! Keep up the good work.

where in montreal are you?? I'm in Pincourt, can't be too far away hah.

          Take it easy!

Ztune has a wicked deal on the Nistune type 2 boards for our ECU's.

alright, bad news today. i went to the machine shop to drop off my arp mains studs so they could check that my mains will stay straight. here's the damage.
500 bucks so far, another 250 to balance the rotating assembly, another 325 if they have to line bore the crank mains. so we're looking at 1075? furk.

here's what's been done so far:
small end rod bushes matched to piston pins, block dunked, decked, x-rayed, flywheel and crank polished and balanced, all bearings and clearances measured to specs.
I've been brushing my teeth with jack but it's resulted in terrible amounts of tooth decay.
