You guys need to set up an RSPCS (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Skylines) and take a baseball bat to the heads of owners that bring disrespect to the heritage by being metrosexual knob jockeys behind the steering wheel.
yeah, same. somebody i was talking to was building his camaro and he was looking for a thread locker for his build. i never used it.
here's a question, the n1 oil pump comes ready to be installed, correct? some other guy's thread had him taking it apart and putting locktite on all the screws.
I've been brushing my teeth with jack but it's resulted in terrible amounts of tooth decay.
yeah, you can pull all the screws on the back plate and put BLUE loctite on them. Mine were in there really tight so I left them. They likely have loctite already but check to make sure. You should make sure to get some oil in the pump after its installed and before you put the oil pan on

thanks to the magic of parts cleaner and a wire wheel, all my exhaust valves now look usable. whew. also, they make a good log cabin. if you're really really small.

Good to finally see some progress on your build. Any idea how much longer until your actually behind a wheel?

Progress looks awesome thus far dude! Brings me back to last summer...probably a more painful than happy time but w/e LOL. As for the valve spring seats, I really don't know what to use, I'd imagine just OEM Nissan seats. By what do you mean by keepers?

So this is kind of a late question since the part is already on, but the water pump just uses the silicone liquid gasket instead of a rubber or paper one, right? The service manual doesnt even say to use silicone but the old bolts have some still on them and there are grooves for it around the edges of my water pump so i used the silicone.
