Go ahead and call him up for paint work... Let him know who sent you as a favor to me please.

Although I would prefer that you don't copy my paint scheme straight up, it's up to you in the end.

The red is a Harley Davidson color called "Starfire" and the black is just a "jetblack".

I would suggest using a paint code like I did, instead of a custom mix. That way, if your car is scratched/dented/etc, it's easier to match.
For instance.. I've had my bumper repaired twice, and now have to do it again (no drift is perfect lol) if it was not for an easily mixed match, the repair cost could easily double each time.

if you could possibly send me his number or possibly even his email that would be greatly appreciated. And i will definately tell him who sent me.

On a second note though man i already have a similar color scheme all over the car. I have a flat black r32 as seen in my avatar and red interior and engine bay. Just want to get the 26 covers done in a nice red like that.... Would you mind if i used him then?

Well for whoever just lets me do the following i will give them some cash:
I would send the covers to someone they take them to the shop and get painted. I pay the money up front and then they send them back. I will give the person that does this some cash for their troubles. Anyways if your interested in lending me a hand please let me know.

I had to use an S14 throttle cable. Could make the RB20 one work, just at a steep angle. I didn't like it, so an S14 worked well.

You need a throttle body adapter (greddy), or use a Q45 which is larger diameter.

New plenum to head gasket without a doubt as well.
I used an S13 and it seems too long - got any pics of yours?

which one would be better than? The 20 or the s13? 20 is a tad short and the s13 is too long.

definalty go for the s13, may be long but you can route it to take up the length. the 20 is short and there is not much you can do with a short cable.

I will be sending my covers out on tuesday morning for a nice paint job by a sweet company. I'll show you soon. Also my buddy and I are going to finish picking up all the supplies tomorrow for the rest of the body kit.

Just a quick question to everyone.... I will be painting it this year again and want to know what people think i should paint it? Just looking for ideas

                              heres some more pics:

Found a transmission finally and for a reasonable price at that. I will be going to the shop tommorrow to do some more work, probably not body work, maybe i will take out the hicas completely! I just need to know exactly what to keep on the car and what i can get rid of... ie: hicas motor on the rear subframe?

Anyways Me and my best bud were working on the car and got this done

And as for stuff to come in the near future:

-Arp head studs are in the mail from Braden at Jnsimports(thanks again buddy!)
-Transmission should arive in 2 weeks or so
-Very nice light weight driveshaft is being ordered shortly
-As well as I hope to get my tomei head gasket shortly too, but bank roll is killing me right now!
-also i have decided i will be going with the work meisters s1's in black finish, just need to sell my white xd9's before i can purchase! No reasonable offers denied!

Big update though...... my rb26 covers have reached their destination for paint, and man there are going to look sick when they are done. I'm sure this painter is going to do great and the best part is that i sent the covers to bc to get them done by a gtrcer after i cut the hole for the vvt of course!

Anyways ladies and gents please post some feedback, its obviously my first build thread but no ones responding . Please provide feedback and maybe some help on the hicas situation as well.

wow, is that last white pic your car? looks pretty!
I've been brushing my teeth with jack but it's resulted in terrible amounts of tooth decay.
