i like! i'm not much for the r32/4 body kit. usually they look like the kit is way too wide for the car but the white one's sure looks alright. throw up some more pics of how your car looks from the outside so we can get a better idea of it.

i just noticed the **** comment by falcon on page 6. bad form, man, bad form.

don't get discouraged cschepp, nobody learned what parts would work by keeping their mouths shut, especially if the answers are hard to find.

if the s13 cable is just a little too long, you can find some brackets, clips, or such to make it take a long scenic route to the throttle body so that it's the correct length. don't bother trying to make something too short stretch into place.

personally, i wouldn't spend any more money to have other people paint your engine parts. i did all my own parts and engine bay painting, and while it's not perfect, it's more than satisfactory.
money well saved that can be spent on making your car have MOAR POWERZZZZ.
besides, it's always satisfying to do something yourself and make it look awesome. lemme know if you need some tips for painting engine parts.
I've been brushing my teeth with jack but it's resulted in terrible amounts of tooth decay.

        thanks man

Well man I hear what your saying about doing it yourself, saving money and gaining knowledge its a win/win situation. But the color I am getting done and the quality of this build is going to be just awesome. I'm not going to cut any corners and worse comes to worse I will get another job and not drive the car till next year. I have full intensions of doing this properly and only doing it once!

As for the falcon comment, didn't really phase me nor discourage me. I was simply asking for a overall consensus. I'm on 5 different skyline websites and research all day, well whenever I have a second of spare time.

I really enjoy getting encouragement from not only you but from everyone else as well. Reminds me why I spend every cent and second on this car! Thanks man

          Lookin good...

Now I gather the RB26 covers fit on the RB25... will they fit on the RB20 as well?

          They look SO much nicer...

Lookin' good Chris. I think you'll love these covers and the quality will most definitely justify you sending them out here.

Brown nosing I don't know about that man, just trying to show appreciation. Nothing like positivity to motivate me you know.

This is not fitzy's old car. I have built this car from the ground up so far! Fitzy's old car went to a guy name kyle I believe. It is the complete bee r kit so those will be the rear fenders being usedm they are wider than a gtr so that's cool. And yes I will be doing a q45 tb, more beneficial in the long run!

question. did you put the beeR kit on yourself?

The rear yes the front at first no but then was redone to have better fitment. But once again I will be redoing it so that gaps are straight and snug. Will look good once its finished that's for sure. Will be doing some mods to the kit for better appearance. Will be keeping it a flat black though with a hint of red.

Question, I do plan to run some good numbers maybe 500 even. The 300 maf maxes out at 480 what other option would I have for mafs that have higher limits than this.

Didn't see what ECU your using but I'm pretty sure skym posted somewhere that Nistune accepts the Ford Lightning MAF. I think its rated much higher than Z32.

I am actually using the rb25 poer fc from apexi. I would be interested in knowing what people are running on the bigger hp rb25's. I'll do some more research but if someone beats me to it i would like to know what maf they are using past 480hp

Can you ditch the MAF and run MAP instead...? It might be more realistic with your power goals no?

It would be realistic but I was told by apexi that they didn't make a map set-up for the 25. But I did hear of someone using a rb26 d jetro on a rb25. Maybe I will have to lower numbers, but I really hope not!

The ford lightning MAFS is what you want to use......Darius over at nicoclub has the power FC settings he probably wouldn't mind sharing with you. If I remember rightt he lightning maf is good for 700hp or something.
