so i went out last night and took a look at my gutted engine bay's fuel lines. stock, the rubber hoses run from the fuel rail to the filter, to the 2 hard lines right below/behind the filter, which are the lines that run all the way to the back.
what kind of fittings did you get to attach the AN hose to those hard lines? or did you replace the lines all the way back to the pump with braided?
Well they are 1/8NPT threaded, then I installed two 1/8NPT to AN-6 fittings.
As for the valve cover, I never liked the look of welded ones.
There is a guy from Australia that sells it here (look for a thread). He was very reliable in shipping and the price was great.
The stock fittings are pressed in, so you need to insert a long screw driver and turn them around as you pull it out. Don't use a small screw driver, try to be as close as possible to the I.D of the valve cover vent fitting. Don't use a vise grip either as you'll just make metal flakes and drop them down into your engine and possibly break the fitting.
After that you press in the new fittings with a soft copper/brass plate (so you don't damage the aluminum).
alright, fuel setup explained. onto the AN fittings on your valve covers! howd ya do 'em? sawzall and a welder for the new ones? theyre alot cleaner than other ones ive seen.
