yeah I literally tested the water lol.


W/O the intake plenum water housing your engine can only release hot water from the water gallery on the front of the engine, which makes it have bursts of hot water coming out instead of a steady flow. I found my lower rad to be dead cold/luke warm with this setup and now after modding it to proper flow, my rad in and out are both cozy and warm. My rad still over-cools in the winter so I'll have to put a cardboard air blocker to block most of the rad and adjust depending on how cold it gets out.

rewired all stock sensor wiring, installed the new glove box and fuse cover, finally got a chance to delete the AC matrix in the dash since my AC is deleted. Strongly recommend doing so as it was clogged with 20 yrs worth of japanese/canadian bugs/**** and weighed about 5 lbs. 5lbs of deadmass is worth deleting.

I got my poncams and just waiting for my adjustable gears. So in the meanwhile, I thought I might as well get the cam covers off and refinish it.

I've had the gold for 2 years now and was looking to change the look as my engine bay went through quite the transformation since it was first painted gold.

Looks awesome! Good Job. I was just looking into painting my cam covers black myself so I was excited to see how it looks on your car. What kind of paint did you use and would you suggest it? Did you have to bake it in order to get the texture?
