    • Buy this Synapse BOV kit -

Can run the above BOV in push configuration like stock BOV (for overboost protection, which is why factory run a push type BOV) or pull configuration that prevents BOV from leaking. I run pull configuration on my car with older style Synapse BOV.

Then buy a brass 6mm OD (Outside Diameter) ribbed on one side and 1/8 female thead on other side fitting. Ribbed part on brass fitting fits into stock 6mm ID (Inside Diameter) BOV vacuum hose that goes from intake manifold to brass piping that's located on side of the intake piping that goes over top of engine (known as the J pipe, as is shaped like a J). Basically push brass fitting into the brass piping end of that hose. Off that brass fitting you run the straight 1/8 thread fitting that's found in the BOV kit. This is to prevent leaking from happening, which can cause BOV to malfunction (flutter sound from turbo / compressor surge).

So brass fitting > straight 1/8 thread fitting > small cut to length vacuum hose from BOV kit > Y fitting in BOV kit > 2x short cut to length pieces of vacuum hose from BOV kit > 2x straight 1/8 thread fittings (from BOV kit) that screw into BOV body.

Then need a 1.25" ID 45 degree intake hose joiner (Samco brand silicon hose or similar rubber or silicon hose from local hose shop), worm drive intake hose clamps to suit x2 (make sure outlet part on BOV is the 1.25" OD fitting, not the 1" OD fitting). You'll need to cut this hose to correct length.

Stock BOV recirculation hard piping (black piping going to intake pipe infront of turbo) is actually 1.1" OD, but the 1.25" ID 45 degree intake hose clamps down onto the 1.1" hard piping without problems (without leaking).

Also need to fit flanges. From what I can remember, for flange where it's mounted to stock BOV location, we took O ring off flange, put O ring into BOV body. Then put flange into BOV body and pushed down. If look down middle of flange, should not see a gap between BOV, flange if it's sitting correctly. Then fit clamp to hold flange into place.

Neat part is the flanges x2 use rubber O rings, so not gaskets necessary.

Finished. No adjustment necessary, should just work if the above is done correctly.

            • after driving the car now the short shifter feels amazing. alignment was badly needed after hicas delete. Since lots of camber was removed the rear got raised alittle. so i dropped it again. Feels good to be back in the car.

While i was at the dealership getting an alignment they were pulling in a 2014 gtr black edition. I was told its the only one in canada. Very nice car and sounds amazing.

                            • So some problems have been found. My pillar gauge pod fits like **** so i had to pull it out. I am on the search for a greddy one (which is supposed to fit perfect) or a steering column pod. They are both discontinued so it's going to be hard to find one.

Next i am pretty sure i solved my shifter thread pitch issue. Someone else is having the same problem and is saying that it is 11x1.25, WTF?

So not sure what to buy for a knob that would fit.

One another note, i will be starting to tear these taillights apart and fitting new lenses in them.

I will take more pics as i work on them.

Another something little i did tonight. Painted the gas tank.

                              • I like.

Looks alot better with fuel tank painted. It's something you notice more at night when light's from cars light up fuel tank, inside of wheels, suspension arms (when dirty, looks like car has been offroad, neglected).
