k fine here's a update, something that i was nervous about doing before i knew all the steps, but its super easy, dont need many tools to get this done! removing rear subframe oem bushings.

        any questions feel free.

so as you can see, you just remove the inner part of the bushing, then use the jig saw to cut, then fold in with hammer and flat head then just falls right through.

and here are the tools i used, first, the drill, to drill out all the rubber between the outside and inside edge so the inner piece can be removed so theirs room for the jig saw and your done! just slide in the new bushings, just need to order the new ones still...

i need to get out of this car business before i get sucked it forever lol. well i think i already am, but i need to stop spending every dime i have in this thing. i mean i'll keep putting money into it to finish it obvi, but when she's ready to rock then i should sell, before i put it in a wall... :/ kuz then the custom paint job wont be helping me out at all as a selling feature if its not mint.

sooo here's what the interior looks like these days, not much left. but i'll im doing adding seats, stereo deck, gauges and thats it.

i even took out the a/c and heater core and stuff. theirs nothing behind the dash, but i need room to relocate things at least i can now.

i think this is what a project car looks like when it is on hold..... :/ lol

ah well, once i can afford to buy more parts it will continue again. it will only be on the road in spring anyways. i need to buy a winter car and finish paying for snowboard gear, and my new mishimoto rad is not cheap..... but this car will be sick when its done. i think anyways.

Did you get rid of the sound deadning even in the driver side floor?
Traction is optional, so are zipties

i have not removed it on driver side yet... still have too, but instead of a chisel i'll get some dry ice. go a little quicker/easier. then i can prep it up and paint it all and stuff.

I was going to say you should keep it on your driverside as heat protection. I mean your not going to save enough weight reduction front just that section. Just sayn thats what I plan to do.

i dont think i'll be daily driving it next year, and i mean, the exhaust is on the other side.... i dunno. i get what you mean, not sure if it would make a difference or not. i just want it out for looks to be honest. i want it all clean and fresh.

I vote you don't sell it and don't paint it! That way you can enjoy it without worrying about a few battle scars on fresh paint lol. Might as well enjoy it after all the hard work!

thats very true esh, i mean time will tell what happens with this thing, but for now i am finally starting to be happy with the front fitment. i still need new tires that smaller kuz right now i cant even turn the wheels lol, but i am dialling in a bit more camber for drifting purposes anyways and those 2 together will help get me all set up

in the pic i have a 205/50/17 and going to a 205/40/17 and its a 9 wide so the stretch will be just right so i dont rub anywhere at full lock, and this is with a 28mm spacer. so the offset is now -3 on a 17x9. and its just flush on a lightly pulled gts fender. and imagine a gtr fender. its 30mm wider then mine. would be stupid wide front compared to rear since rear doesnt even fit a spacer at all with 0 camber.

                                driver side

                                passenger

i think its much better then before and its giving me even more angle for full lock. should be decent sideways
