If I remember, Splitfires come with the harness, but the reviews I have read are hit or miss.

Probably around 15+ people on here have bought Yellowjackets and they have received nothing but good reviews.

A new harness from Nissan is around 150$ if I remember, so it comes up to around the same price if you get Yellowjackets+Harness vs Splitfires.

OEM Nissans are also good, but not cheap.

OEM Nissans you can order from any dealer.

Splitfires I've never bought any so I'm not sure, but Ztune or Daryl@Tunerlab can prob hook you up.

Yellowjackets it's this website http://www.performance-wise.com/page63.htm. Or you can pm performance-wise directly who's a sponsor on these boards. This was the group buy thread from earlier this year: http://forums.gtrcanada.com/showthread.php?t=43292.

Okay so i have an update. I was looking at my car the other day and i thought it was the exhaust manifold getting red hot but i think its the turbo? I have included a picture with an arrow pointing to where the red host metal is. I could be very wrong but i dunno. Any one help me out?

pic: Its heating up red hot right in-between those two metal shields? Help please

              yeah thats the exhuast side.
i think its normally normal t have a glowing turbo ect after a hard drive?

if you pulled your plugs all out and none of them were deathly white theres nothing to worry about.

yeah they were white. I just grounded my fuel pump to get 12 volts so ill see if its still hesitating. Could it be the fuel pressure regulator?

i dont think the AACV can be the problem.
if you havent already checked that the TPS voltage is set right? and have you checked the fuel pressure?

                    • haven't had a chance to check fuel pressure yet, however i check and set TPS to 0.49 and i just was driving and did maybe one pull and the exhuast got red hot again. I am running way lean, but i can't figure whats causing it.

                      • have you changed the fuel filter yet?

                        • Yes i have first thing i did. Do you know what type of guage i have to use to test the fuel pressure, or where i can get one.

                          • you ould get a FPR with a fuel pressure gauge built in and possibly fix it, or atleast know what the rail pressure is.

i think you can buy something from most part stores called a fuel pressure test kit for around 30 dollars, or just any ordinary fuel pressure gauge and t into hose or get a section of hose so you dont have to cut the stock hose.

                            • There should be a 1.5-2 inch diameter or so pressure gauge that screws into to brass T fitting. I saw that setup on a Skyline.

The stock FPR is rising rate. As revs rise, so should fuel pressure. If fuelpump or FPR is weak, could be the cause of lean A/F ratio.
