interesting tidbits guys. At the end of the day though, this a 500+whp engine going into a skyline thats losing a lot weight. thats 250whp per wheel... I think i'll be satisfied with that. (if i can control it )

whoops. ya i guess i should have put it in the projects forum. I think when i started the thread i intended on doing a very thorough job of documenting and explaining what i did to make it happen (tech section).. but i just lost the steam and it's become a project car thread for sure.

Jay.. thanks buddy. I actually got my hands on one from the car i took the engine out of. We gotta hook up this summer, catch up and stuff

              Just about there boys...

Wiring's done. Same goes for fuel system, vac lines, rad hoses, etc. All thats left now is a couple belts, throw the fluids in and sort out a minor kink in my PS lines. Hope to be on the road later this week, and full tune done by a week or so after that.

So we're down to lining up the transmission, doing quick custom fit w/ the drive shaft, and then its wiring up time.
told you so i wanna see this thing in action. im not a big fan of sr20s but its gonna be cool.

i think you're gonna find that this sr2.2 is gonna be a bit different that most

Plan right now is to be a skymeet, so hopefully we'll touch base then

Very nice! How much weight did you manage to shave off? It's nice that it's considerably shorter keeping the weight off the front. I approve

not sure yet, forgot to hit the bloody scale before i started.

In the hundreds i'm sure, i'll crunch out a number sometime soon.

Dear god, it finally started last night. Had some bugs to work out (using a ViPEC to read an Autronic trigger wheel). Sounds violent.

Hopefully will get a base tune on it right away and post a video

So let me get this straight. You gained several hundred (?) horsepower, and lost several hundred (?) pounds?

You are the best man ever.

                                I know crazy right? Hundreds.

Let me tell you though, we're barely got it purring so far, but this engine + my kakimoto exhaust... = which was awesome cause i was a little worried about losing 2 of my boys.
