I had a compression test done on my rb25 today and I'm pretty impressed. I've been runnin the car at 20psi for over two years now making really high numbers for an oem rb25. I was worried they might be low and the engine slowly going but the numbers proved me wrong. I owe it to quality work and tuning I guess. Car had 192,000km on it, engine may have been swapped out at 90,000 based on a metal plate engraving on the cam gear cover but that could have been the last time the timing belt was done. None the less the numbers make me happy and the car still pulls like it first did the day I drove it out of the shop.*
Cyl # 1 = 165 PSI
Cyl # 2 = 165
Cyl # 3 = 165
Cyl # 4 = 170
Cyl # 5 = 165
Cyl # 6 = 170
Cyl # 1 = 165 PSI
Cyl # 2 = 165
Cyl # 3 = 165
Cyl # 4 = 170
Cyl # 5 = 165
Cyl # 6 = 170
