  • Clutch change, what else?

Changing my clutch this winter. I'm gonna replace the trans fluid also, but what else should I replace/check while I'm in there?
    Thanks.

Clutch pivot ball while your in there can't hurt.

Rear main seal could be worth doing as well.

The rear main seal is the same for all RB's and the pivot ball is the same for push type clutch setups.

I would recommend Nismo pivot ball as they are stronger than oem and a must if your going stage 2/3 clutch. Also a good upgrade is the Nismo braided clutch hose which also eliminates the hydraulic damper on the lines. I did both on mine Terry and with a spec2+ it launches pretty good.

Could you send me the p/n's for the pivot and line? Have to track down a supplier for it all. I think I have the correct p/n for the rear main seal. I was looking at the maze of clutch lines, seems like a bunch of useless places for fluid to hang out lol. I have a up-rated clutch for a 300zx it's supposed to be about 10% over stock so it's basically the same, no need for heavy clutch yet, still saving up for power up!

Tranny is out. I had a noise which I assumed was the throw out bearing. New one came with the clutch I bought. The old one was a bit dry, and made a noise when spun BUT....... When I checked the input shaft, seems to be more than normal play😞
