OK guys & gals, cross your fingers for a sunny weekend in Kent! There are still a bunch of last minute things to do, but it looks like we're a go!

Andrew, Jurie & I will be heading down Thursday to register, test & tune is Friday, and then the main race is Saturday!

The other guys from Ztune will be heading down Friday night or Saturday morning...not sure exactly when yet, but I'll post times once we know for sure in case anyone wants to carpool!

More info on the event and tickets can be found on the Pacific Raceways website! Hope to see some familiar faces at the races! Let's show these big block drag cars what a daily driver import can do

Pacific Raceways hosts the NHRA Northwest Nationals and is a legendary motorsports facility located near Seattle in Kent, WA.
FINAL CLEARANCE! EVERYTHING MUST GO NOW!

He's doing a TH400 w/4WD eventually. As far as I know, he is building an 8.49 car, so a manual at that point would be a little tricky....lol

I was in the shop on Friday after they completed their first run and it sounded like they did pretty good.

Apparently he was not ever going to run an auto trans on it because it's still his street car and he wants to enjoy it, 5 spd included. Everyone was apparently speculating/telling him to do it, but it was never an option in his mind.

And I'll leave it to Ztune to discuss and share numbers etc (especially if they can't say anything) but they weren't running 8.49's. I'm sure someone will pipe in as they were telling me about it while I was in there...

Actually come to think of it I need to call them tomorrow....

ya, but telling in person is different than posting on a forum...

any idea when this show airs?

My guess is they were running +10's.

Only reason I say that... is because I was in LA last winter with Zulu and we saw the XS Engineering car only run low 10's... with slicks, and a fully stroked 2.8L HKS 51r "Garage Bomber" with ******* 12 injectors and fully stripped with big slicks run 9.7 as his best all time run...

Yea I recognize that which is why I won't post anything and leave it to them. I'm excited to see when the show airs... I think it was mentioned somewhere previously in this thread (if I'm not mistaken) but I'm at work so I can't really check it out and read through everything...

nice of you to come out after a long period of inactivity to rip on an old comment. im not trying to stir up anything, and I realize my comment was out of line.

as for the OP, I am really curious to see what happened here, I would love to see the numbers, and also when it will be aired!
