What happened to TSS?

the last thing i heard from Chad (shop manager) they are starting a booking only system. guess the market crashed on them. i dont have any solid info tho.

I was actually going to go and pick up replacement headlight bulbs from them on Tuesday, and maybe a few other things. How does the booking system work, just call and tell them what I need and when I'll be there?

PS on a side note, I've had only great experiences with them.

that was a couple weeks ago, every thing ive heard now it seems they are shut down..

I managed to get my car out of there. Chad has officially left the shop as of a couple weeks ago. Steve has moved onto something else.

Many many thousands invested and my rb24det runs like ass.
Last time I was impressed by their work was in 2006, the shop went seriously downhill from there.

The one thing I don't understand, is why it's so hard for them to get an engine to run well.

Sufficient Fuel ---> check? (pump, filter, lines, injectors, regulator?)
Sufficient Spark ---> check?
Turbo System ---> check?
Headwork ---> ?
Tuning ---> perhaps this is the issue?

Honestly, having worked on many different cars from small jobs to full engine builds... it's not hard if you know what you're doing. What exactly is the problem with your car? There is another member here as well with an RB25 that runs like ass apparently.

I just don't understand how people continued to go there for anything other than buying parts. I've seen 1 good review for every 10 bad ones from TSS. Stories of their retardedly expensive skylines being nightmares disguised in nice paint and what not.
