RWD vehicles seriously aren't bad to drive in the winter at all. Winter tires and maybe some weight in the back (sandbags etc.) and away you go. Far more fun if you ask meOriginally posted by kengeroothat's what I thought when I opened the package..

I have some newer michelin X-ice (crap tires when you're used to blizzaks) on my 240 and it's almost pointless to drive in winter around here it's so icy. The open diff doesnt' help either but I can't find a 1.5way diff for it... Might throw in some sand bags since it weights 2700 pounds lol. The wife is using the Murano so I have no choice but to use my beater.Last edited by NismoS-tune; 11-20-2010, 11:35 PM.Black 1991 GTR. Serious garage stand mantle/parts car.

When I bought/picked up my GTR in Calgary last December, I drove back to Winnipeg in the snow.... Not having the G-sensor and bald 255's on the back sure made for some sketchy "fun" when the boost came on!Originally posted by SnowSure a condom holds water but you don't see me drinking from one.

my gtr drives great, i got a set of 18's and blizzaks, a hks torque splitter and installed a oilpan heated patch. but can anyone help me with my hicas and awd? when i first start it up in the morning, the hicas and 4wd light stays on. and the awd does not work when the 4wd light is on, as for the hicas, i cant conferm. everything turns back to normal after a few hour of driving. does this happen because of some of the parts from the hicas and awd are too cold to function? and if so is there anything i can do to prevent this? ie, adding a some more heat patch's to the parts and pluging them in at night? thank you for your time
