I did his headlight last year and he told me he would like to have a detail on his car so here is it.

On peut difficilement voir les swirls, mais on peut voir qu’il manqué un peu de shine!






Pre-soaking the bug and tar with a special soap.


Foaming the car as usual.




Cleaning the wheel using a Boar brush that won’t scratch + a safe wheel cleaner


I then clay the car

The owner like to use P21S polishing soap on his tips, seems to do a good job but I tried to give it my personal touch.




C’est sorti un peu plus shiny. Mais je peux pas dire qu’il était en mauvaise condition avant.

Voyez comment ces pads sont adaptés parfaitement au contour de la voiture.

Now WTF is up with this panel?


Sure, his carfax was 100% clean but my PTG doesn’t say so. There’s clearly something wrong with this panel. That’s the kind of info I always give to the owner of the car about his paint.

Je peux dire par experience qu’une peinture de BMW est plus épaisse que la moyenne des compagnies et toutes l’auto avait une lecture correcte, mais pourquoi ce panneau, en particulier, était si bas!? Ça, on le sait pas et c’est pas son carfax qui le dira, mais peu-importe, il y a un petit vis cacher

The car was already waxed and that’s a sign for me that the car was already well-maintened. / L’auto était déjà ciré et cela signifie que l’auto était bien entretenue.



As you can see, the reflection was already good but let see what I can do to improve the finish.

Comme vous pouvez voir la reflection est déjà bonne, mais voyons voir ce que je peux faire.

I must say the result is stunning for a 2-step. Just like I told the owner, a 1-step wouldn’t have cut it on this car.

Je vous présente une Subaru STI. Elle était très oxydée avec un look très fade. Voyons voir ce qu’un polissage 2-step va pouvoir lui redonner comme lustre.

Pour être franc, pour X raisons, je croyais que la voiture était blanche et pour cela, je lui avait fait un forfait avec un 1-step. Lorsque j’ai vu la condition, je savais que ce ne serait pas suffisant. Mon but, ce n’est pas de faire de la production, mais bien de s’assurer que moi, tout comme le propriétaire, allons être satisfait du résultat. Je le savais qu’il ne le serait pas avec un 1-step. Lorsque je lui explique la situation, on a perdu 1 heure à négocier l’affaire et ça la fini que c’était mon erreur… Je veux dire, au pire, je lui aurais fait un 1-step et il n’aurait pas été content, mais ça n’aurait pas été mon problème. Finalement, j’ai accepté de faire mon 2-step en plus d’avoir perdu 1 heure inutilement.

Des fois, ça me donne envie de me ferme la gueule. J’ai voulu éviter de rendre quelqu’un de mécontent et ça m’es revenu sur mon dos.

I’m very impressed with how it turns out. In fact, I guess there’s was just tons of light swirls and very little deep scratches. Also, we all know Subaru paint are on the soft side.

L’intérieur était déjà clean, alors, me suis pas attardé à prendre des befores, mais c’est certains qu’il y avait de la saleté et taches ici et là.

Voici une FX35, j’ai tellement un faible pour les Infinity, j’aimerai pouvoir posséder une G35, c’est pas l’argent le problème.. c’est les assurances!! Dommage!

P.S : C’était la dernière fois que je fesais un detail avec une tuque. C’est plate à dire, mais je cancel mon prochain rendez-vous s’il fait encore un froid comme celui-là, JE SUIS ÉCOEURÉ!!! Lol

Cette personne peut se compter chanceuse de m’avoir dans son cercle d’ami car cette Mazda 3 avait besoins d’une bonne touche d’amour de ma part.

Lorsque j’ai rentré dans la voiture, j’ai eu de la peine pour le tapis conducteur, alors voici la transformation :

Après, j’ai remarqué les lumières.. jaune comme de l’urine. J’ai voulu améliorer sa visibilité, mais aussi le look de sa voiture.

Vous vous rappelez la fille avec son integra !? Ben voici sa mazda 3 et une autre major scratch.. lol bad luck.

À l’origine, elle voulait que je fixe ‘’juste’’ la scratch, qui, en fait, est une clé..

At first, she wanted me to simply fix that ''scratch'' then I told her it would loook better if I do the whole car .

Une chance j’avais mon paint gauge, j’en avait déjà trop enlevé, *IMPOSSIBLE* de faire mieux que ça.

Après le polissage :

Vous voyez quelques chose vous autres!? ( Alors, je résume, j’ai fait disparaitre une marque de clé sur une peinture de Mazda Ultra-mince) Dans ces situations, je crois que le paint gauge est une obligation.

See something? So just to remind you, I almost completely removed to a point where you can't see it on the thinnest paint on the market, the famous mzada 3. The paint gauge in this situation is mandatory.









C'est aussi une démonstration à tout ceux qui croit qu'il y a rien à faire pour une marque de clé.

I hope with this demonstration, I will be getting a bit more respect from some peoples.

My friend bought this car this winter from his insurance company, he asked me if I could do an interior, I gave him more than he ask!

Those car bring me back good ol memories when I was working with my friend Toze at Discount, I must of cleaned 10 car like this per week-end ( just ask him how clean and fast were my job No matter what some hater gonna say, Interior is, in fact, my speciality.

All my interior are done with my own extractor and various soap depending on the materials I’m working with and various brush.

For sure that would be really cool to detail a higher end car. Did you go to school for auto detailing or was it just a hobby that you got really good at?

Hobby and a job... I wasnt driving and I was cleaning car.. people had to drive the car in and out for me Then.. I got my first and second car and was like.. how about I keep it always clean?... then I got a skyline and damn.. I needed that ultimate shine.. then I said.. F*ck this stuff is expensive, how about I do other car to pay my products? and well.. first summer was rough but second summer was pretty good and then I put all my effort and times this summer and more updates and stuff for next summer with *maybe* even a coworker.

and yeah.. every summer, I got better than the last one so I expect to do even better detailing next year as I keep learning or master my technique and there's always new products that will make your job look even better etc etc. It's all cool but I wont do a career of this.
