Acura RSX detailed with Wolfgang Fuzion

Recaro micro-suede: very delicate and hard to clean, Overall, they were in good condition but, in person, you were able to see some ''fading spot'' and some black spot.





After 1h30 of scrubbing with a microfiber to not destroy the suede and then applied the fabrig-guard protection. Here's the result.






Interior was clean so it was mainly a quick refresh with brush and a good protector all over the molding and dash, I then coated with an odor absorber instead of a perfume.

Traitement:
degraser with a MINI-BRUSH

Back-to black for wheel well






Paint was in good shape with miror defect. So, my goal was mainly to remove any oxydation and haziness on the paint and give it an ultimate coat of premium quality wax!

Polishing a strut bar.

Here's a job I usually do, on spare times, because it's pretty hard to predict how much times I will need to achieve the right result.

In the right corner.. lol!





I tried my best to show a 50/50 shot of all the step needed.
untouched,1000,1500,2000,steel wool + metal polish





Here's one of the most important step, it's the final step, the jeweling, I polish until I get a high reflective metal. Then, I coat it with 2 applications of PB wheel sealant for that little extra shine.

I had request, all over the country, maybe, I should try to see if it would be possible by train LOL.. Maybe not, manitoba is pretty far away but maybe I will try work something out with ontarian.

Exemple of bad pruducts with a bad DIYer.

After using cheap product ( aka Turtle wax product) with a bad technique and with the wrong pad, you can't expect a good result! See by yourselft all the spot it left on the paint.







La peinture est quand même bien belle pour une peinture JET BLACK! Paint is clearly not that bad for a jet black










After taking some measure of the paint with my Paint gauge, It shows about 120 micros all around. That's perfect because those germain paint have hard clear coat and I will need minimum a 3-step to be able to correct those spots!



Here's the result, barely no more faded spot. Just an almost brand-new paint with a nice wet-look. Thanks to the DP max wax.

This is a great thread that shows sometimes, to the DIY, it's better to leave it to someone who know how to do it because a good paint job is worth 5000$. Better not f*ck your 5000$ paint job to save 200$ with a 5$ products!

Lancer Ralliart Protection detail.

This is the same detail I did on the Tucson 1 week ago. However, it was so hot outside, I got sick while doing the car, I was sweeting way too much and end up asking the owner to come back in a week to finish the job. So I felt bad for the owner to come back a second times so I did an extra step by glazing the car with a white pad and coat it with premium Wolfgang Fuzion wax.

This detail was done in such a rush, I was asked to do it in less than 48 hours because the car was going to a car show in NY and had to be detailed before the show. Knowing the paint was new not long ago, it still had some buffing marks that needed to be corrected and then the last step was a glave in order to achieve a wetter look for the look. No times for before/in between pictures. Sorry.

Here's my grandpa malibu, last time he waxed his car he said he took 1.30 so I thought he needed some help from his grand-son .

Last year, I did a 1-step on this car and this year we decide to do the same to keep it in is ''almost brand new'' condition. It's cheap and correct all the mistake done by bad washing technique or winter brush.

Wheel cleaner and wheel brush

Wax limited edition Natty's Red ( make metallic pop!)
Tons of Microfibers

Mazda 3 detailed.

After doing her interior this past spring, I decided to be nice again and do the best I could in one day.

Correction 3 step.

Here's only a small panel. I don't think this car was clayed before.



Paint is so ''slim'' I won't be able to correct it like I would but I will try jeweling the paint instead to give better wetness so people would not spot the swirl.


Before: take a look at how fade the mirror and tires are.

Before: Because of the sun, it was pretty hard to capture the swirls and overall condition of the paint.


But still, you can clearly see a difference after!
