CobrAA how much to ship you and all your cleaning supplies to Moose Jaw sask for a few days to clean all my cars and my friends cars ?

Sask.. I don't think it's worth doing it in car. more like train.. How much can it cost? 150$ ?

Then, let say I stay in sask for 3-4 days. Everyday, Let's put 30$ for foods and 50-60$ for a cheap ass motel.

So you would need ( you and everybody from around moose jaw) to split all these costs + my price for every detailing job. and I can't see why it couldn't be done.

Another thing is that someone will have to be kind enought to let me use his driveway or garage( if it's raining) to detail everybody cars.

I'm actually thinking about doing it with my ontarians friends this summer but if it's worth it, I will do it in sask too. I mean, as long as I'm breaking even with my expense and details, why wouldn't I be down to visit for ''free'' the rest of canada?

I've been looking for a good drying towel, the chamois we have at work are leather and good at absorbing water but I think they leave bad swirl marks. What kind of microfiber cloths do you use?

I could include 1 MF drying towel for you with the rest because I don't know any good drying towel they sell at CT haha.

6 month later, when I think about THAT day... might have been my worst day ever.. seriously, I can't believe I've been able to complete that car that day. Oh well.. I did, took more times but still got it done haha.


So basicly the job was what I call a winter protection. it consist of:

Wash
Clay
Wheel detailed
Scellant


Not a lot of pictures because, like I said, I found out something and I wasn't feeling good.

However, you can see the clay bar on this car was mandatory !!



And here's some after-shot. the look improved a little, that's for sure. but when I do a winter protection without polish, the goal is more to protect than look. so here it is.

Here's a Golf, I was suppose to do a 2-step detail on this car. The detail start like it should be with a quality hand was with foam gun.

And then comes the times to polish the car.. A surprise will happens. Initial condition of the hood.







So, I do my 2-step polishing and look how horrible the paint is!! So much holograms.





Here's my theory ; The owner just bought this car off someone, overall the car looked clean, so I'm guessing the previous owner paid to have it detailed but like 95% of ''detailer'' out there, he did a shitty job like I always see. So by polishing out the hood like this, I removed all his filler glaze he must have used to make the car look good but by removing these fillers now I happens to see the REAL condition of the paint.

Whatever the reason, I simply can't leave that hood like this, but I had to call the owner to tell him I couldn't detail his car for the price I quote him and I couldn't do the job in one day, I needed 2 days to complete the work. At the end, he was happy of my honesty and the fact I didn't let his hood like that! Below you can see the final correction!

For the past 2 years, I've been working with a powerful yet very expensive galaxy extractor at my upholstery shop cleaning anything you can think of that have fabric/leather.

I think it was times for me to step up with a portable extractor in order to make cleaner jobs.This thing ain't cheap but I guess it's worth it!

So, before doing a car with this machine, I decide to test it on my white carpet. good test. Here's the result.

Today was my first interior detailing with my new pro extractor. Let see if she was up to the task of this ‘’trashed’’ corolla!

Here’s what I did in order to achieve a pro result:

- Vacuum using a Shop-vac ( will buy a more powerful unit next year)
- Blowing debris with air compressor on hard to reach area
- Cleaning windows and removing glue with a windows cleaning cloth
- Cleaning rubbers with an APC and brush
- Cleaning carpet and removing salt with extractor and brush
- Seat shampoo with extractor
- Applying UV protector everywhere
- Anti-odor ( odor absorber) treatment at the end.

Nettoyage des fentes avec une petite brosse fine :

Cleaning cracks with small brush. Small details!










Utilisation du compresseur pour aller chercher les petits morceaux dans les endroits impossible. Ça l’aide aussi à nettoyer dans les fentes après avoir passer la brosse.

Cleaner clean dash and doors but they dry the material. This is why it’s important to protect it with a special UV protector that hydrate the material, protect it, it’s also anti-static and gives a better look

Salt ?! Not a problem for me and I guarantee it won’t smell vinegar !

Just to let you know, if you have a grange large enought to work, I’m still accepting works. I also have a garage but it’s more complicated LOL! Anyways, ask and worst case, it will be no!

Another small detail must people don’t do: polishing bug guard. You can clearly see the difference it does.





Here’s a detail must people forget : Scratches under door handle. BTW: I knew the last owner was a woman, pat didn’t have to tell me LOL!

This person was refered to me from the Tucson’s owner I did earlier this season. This bmw 328i was a lease return and his brother decided to help him enhance the look of his car by removing the sticky contaminants on his paint with a SCOTCH-BRITE… instead of a clay bar. It was horrible!

I must tell you, his reaction after seeing the car was PRICELESS, I think he couldn’t believe I could fix all that and he thought it looked nicier than when he pick it up at the dealer haha! This kind of reaction makes me love what I do and I appreciate that these owner likes what I do.

Great correction!! I would say close to 90% corrected no?







Car is being waxed. Wax sit on the car until haze while I detail the rims and clean the windows.
