NICE, sounds almost sedate compared to alot of other 9 sec GTR vids on the web, GOOD TORQUE!!!!

That's what ET Streets will do for you, all I need is good tires and a tranny that won't go boom (sounds like you've got a dogbox there) and I should be really low 10's for sure.

10.67 at 138mph on my G-Tech on really cold pavement with a horrible 2.2 sec 60'. Just the improvement of .5 sec in the 60' would give me a 10 flat at the track with good tires. I made that ET up on the big end of the run so she is REALLY making some good power.

In my sig. I've got 134mph because G-Techs tend to be a little optimistic in the speed department, however, I have also seen them be under if your launch was not very good (which mine was terrible) so it might be accurate.

Means nothing untill I get it to a track though.

                Jon.

you should be in the 1.6 range with decent tires and with more power in the 1.4-1.5 range. I did a 1.52 on stock turbos with OLD CRAPPY R compounds that were 245/45/16.
Yup, I managed a 1.57 60' on the really old and hard Dunlop 225/50r16s the car came with (the 11.24 in my sig), it's all in the clutch "rideout" ballancing rpm, boost and clutch engagement. I took me about 20 tries on two different track days to finally find the sweet spot, now my clutch is starting to go away...........LOL.

Are you running a bolt in cage or welded? Just curious what they allow after 11s... Also, I'm a noob, how do you go from rear wheel to AWD without turning your car off and on again?

You can wire a switch to the fuse box, just don't flick it when the car is moving.

Any bolted in cage from Japan will be summarily spat upon and ridiculed at an NHRA event IF you run under 11.49. Anything over 11.49 does not require an NHRA spec cage therefore you can run the JDM cages.

You can run a bolt in cage, it must be a 6 point and must have 6"x6" plates (1/8" thick iirc) top and bottom. A weld in cage is much more safe and rigid to help the chassis to it's job without the body flexing all over the place messing things up.

Once you hit the 9's though things get more complicated, the cage must have a halo hoop and be at least 8 point (though most people go 12 point as it's not much more work). You also need more safety gear......9's are honkin' at the big end, the end of the track comes up really fast at 140mph.

                        • Finally got to take my GTS-t out to the 1/4 mile strip

Best time of the night was:

                          14.69 @ 94.74 mph

Not bad considering this was my first time at the track with the skyline and launching with rwd.
