    the guy that built my car had its track sheets best time is 12.2 mods- nismo head, high flow exhaust, hks bov, hks intercooler, design engineering Cry02 system and a bigger turbo runnin 20 lbs of boost. 89 gtst

    I did a 1.52 on 245 R comps. GTR's launch REALLY well.

    I drive the falken Azenis, there is no problem to spinne the 4 wheel to make a good take off.

    I'm going to Napierville past week and Mirabel (ICAR) yesterday evening

    60 foot: 1.75
    ¼ mile 12.25 at 112.5 mph

    Wheelhop/etc from crappy tires is much worse than properly launching the car on good ones.

    Putting non performance tires on the car is dumb. Why not just launch the car a little easier instead if you're worried about replacing parts?

    2.0 second 60's are easy in a GTR without stressing anything significantly.

    anyone done this? Sounds like a great idea! Does it slow the ET much, or even help it?

    I found my best 60' times (around 1.5) were achived with a quick slip from the 6000RPM range. Heavier or lighter flywheels should adjust accordingly.

    I went 12.2 at stock boost and went 11.5@116 at 1.3 bar with some porting, an ECU and other minor mods you can see in my build thread.
