14.9 1/4 mile i cant find the exact slip but it was my first time ever racing it, and it has some problems, i only did 2 runs and both the same 14.94 and then 15.0

hopefully i can get it running good by the time the last race down here is.

        mods:
        3" blitz turbo back exhaust
        crap tires.
        dome air filter.

                      LOL...OK, I get it now.....

I didn't even think of it that way.

They should definately just call it the "non-V8 power class" or something to avoid confusion....hehe

boost was about 1.4 bar, wasn't helping at all because of the temps, I think it would have been faster at 1.0

I'm going back to the track /next/ weekend, we'll see what it does at full wick before the turbos let go.

                          First Time!!

I had my first drag experience tonight. At the beginning I was pretty frustrated I was getting 15.0+ second runs with 100mph (had 3 like that) all with reaction times or 0.7 to 0.9seconds. Then got a few pointers from a fellow GTR owner, and started to crack some bettery times still not good but getting there. My best time was 14.4 at 101mph and a reaction of 1.4. I'm hoping next time I'll get some better times and higher speeds. Pretty disappointed but was fun none the less. I shifted early the passenger said around 6500 rpm, and my launches and reactions were all bad. Anyone got advice?

launch at like 7000 and slip the clutch a bit so you boost before you leave the line and keep an eye on your tachometer and dont shift till it hits the red.

Not bad for my first time at the track with it.

                              Only basic mods:
                              twin plate clutch
                              intakes
                              exhaust
                              stock turbos running 0.9 BAR
                              stock ECU tune

And some heavy 17's weighing it down with ever-so-grippy Nexan tires!

Ran my GTR last Friday after installing new clutch. Was running 91 octane with Max NOS octane booster. Tires 225/50/16 Dunlops @30psi should of been @35psi because traction wasn't a problem.

                                Boost @10psi

                                Mods:
                                M's K&N filters
                                95mm HKS Silent Hi-Power exhaust
                                Gutted cat
                                HKS downpipe
                                Blitz Blowoff valves
Nismo Copper mix clutch & lightweight flywheel
                                NGK Irridium spark plugs

Elevation here is higher then the coast which causes it run a bit slower. Gonna try again with 13psi of boost and tire pressure @35psi. I was also shifting quick so i didn't loose too much boost.Hoping to run low 13's or high 12's next time.
