Why am I here: I've been into cars since I was a kid. My dream car, like most, was always the Skyline GT-R and my dream came true when I got stationed in Japan. I picked up my 1991 GT-R for a good price for one so clean without rust. I hope to take it back to the states when she's 25.
Love GTR and planning on buying one soon...just here to get some tips and advices. Hope you can help me out...I need to do a lot of research so I can spend my hard earned cash on purchasing a GTR.

We live in the US and were scammed into buying a Skyline from Canada. He took advantage of our ignorance about these cars not being up to US DOT and EPA standards. The car is useless to us because we cannot get a title nor license it here. Needless to say, we have no way of contacting this irreputable person who has essentially disappeared as far as phone service, ebay user account, or email. He has our money and we have a car that cannot be driven here. Anyone intrested in an 1989 Skyline with lots of mods done on it?
