GTRCanada is the best spot I've found to learn about Skylines. 80% of my pre-purchase research was done here. Thanks to everyone who shares knowledge and keeps this thing on the rails!
I've just purchased an '89 GTR. It's nearly stock and looks to be in near-mint condition. I won't post pix as it looks like every other stock GTR, except cleaner. :wink: .
My last 'fun' car was an '88 Mustang GT. My first taste of the GTR says its going to even more fun.
Here's to needing all wheel drive to get the power on the pavement!

Why am I here: I have always had a soft spot for skylines. I drove my first skyline last year, it was a GTS-t but my god, the power. I'm used to driving AE86 corollas, i've had 6 so far, and I love them to death. I recently decided though to move on to a GTR. I've always had fast cars in my family, my dad used to drag race, he build up a 70 Chevelle SS with about 900hp, used to race in Toronto and on the 400 back in the 70's/80's for those who remember those times. Anyways, I just wanted to say hi and hope to be an owner soon aswell.

P.S. This is one of the best sites on the net for skyline info and everyone here seems very helpful towards each other and that's always a good thing.

I know the first thing you are thinking is that i am too young to be here or something along that line, but let me tell you guys a little bit about me. I loved cars ever since i was around grade 1-2(6-8 years old). i have to say i wasnt really into imports like honda's or Nissan's back then, it was mostly like muscle cars and porsche's. i used to get all my knowlegde about cars from 2 magazines, Car & Driver and Road & Track. I stopped getting my free subscriptions of the magazines when i moved to whitby. i then discovered the internet as my research tool and i came across Accord's when i was discovering import tuner cars. i looked hard at 240sx's, Civic's, Prelude's, Rx-7's, Supra's, Integra's, Skyline's, S15 Silvia's, Evo 6, and a couple more. i at the end choosed the nissan skyline r32 becuase it looked good, it had the most stock HP, it was 4WD, and it was finally legal in 2003.

Now, oviously i dont have a skyline but i do have a FC and i bet it is not as fun as the skyline. i guess what really inspired me to get a skyline was a guy who lives in whitby and he has 2!!! and were are both for sale!!! i saw him at Walmart in the summer and at the SuperStore later on, but as soon as i saw it, o couldnt get my eyes off of it. I think his name is justin.
