I'm going to need one of these eventually for the vh41de, but not immediatley (just secured the engine yesterday, big expenses right now).
If I could provide a downpayment or something and then top-up later to get it shipped out? that would work. Provided they're past the prototype stage for the application, of course. (I'll go in for testing if they do that sort of thing...)
I'll leave the cable and tuning to you guys.

MikeM@Ztune, they make a board for Neo RB25DET ECU (installed in R34 GTT / ER34 and Stagea). Only problem is not all of the maps, tables are there. It's a Type 4 board for R34 GTT / ER34 and Stagea ECU.

i am definitely interested in getting this for my GTR.

however, i cannot commit until i find someone knowledgeable enough (in the greater toronto area) to dyno tune (not street tune) this correctly for me.

^ You could still install Nistune and run the same map you are running on right now(unless you are on a standalone) till someone trustworthy in Southern Ont supports Nistune.

            Im getting excited.

hey mike, it seems like there are alot of people who will be in this group buy, but it seems like there are also alot of people who don't quite have the funds yet (including myself).

once this group buy goes through you guys should do another one in 6 months or so for the rest of us! i've gotta get nistune but im midway through a rebuild and all the engine parts are costing too much for me to get nistune this winter. seems like a lot of other gtrcers are in the same boat
I've been brushing my teeth with jack but it's resulted in terrible amounts of tooth decay.

Hey guys, I'm looking at the possibility of Ztune pre-purchasing ten Nistune packages, and then offering them to the first 10 buyers at the Group-buy pricing! This would help those who want Nistune now get it faster, and then we'd have a few in stock for those that can come up with the funds in the near future!

I will update you all in a day or two!

You could have a reputable electronic repair shop socket your ecu for you. I wouldnt recommend doing it yourself unless you've messed with electronics b4alot or have a couple extra ecu's. Most questions about Nistune can be answered by visiting n!stune,c0m.

Best to get someone who's experienced with socketing to do the install.

ECU is static sensitive. Requires proper anti static equipment. Static damage makes the ECU stop working now or later on, depending on how much static electricity it was exposed to. Also good soldering equipment is expensive.

I was planning to do it myself because te website makes it seem so easy. It doesn't mention anything about how to socket the ecu it jut makes reference to putting the daughterboard into the soket for the rom. I'm guessing some of the ecus don't come docketed from factory and others do? Am I right? Static equipment is easy enough you just get a strap that grounds you to the ecu or you could try and be lucky and touch the ecu till yours grounded and then pull it apart. I already have the soldering equipment. I dunno. Just trying to save myself some money. Mike what would you recommend. The nistune website makes it look simple.
