mir doesnt have an advantage on his feet... if anything they are equal, but i would still tip the scales in favor of lesnar due to his power... like ceral... anyone brock hits he sends flying across the ring... where as with mir it took ALOT of unblocked strikes to knock down nog... i think if lesnar were to fight nog, nog would retire half way through the fight

You don't think Mir is a better technical striker than Lesnar? Give me a break. I'm not sure what the reaches are, but if Mir can get close, I give him the advantage.


Do you know about Nog's chin? Yeah, it may be softer now, but he's still no Andrei Arglassjaw. The guy has taken an ungodly amount punishment. Seen his face? Doesn't look 33 to me.

If you put Lesnar now against Nog in his prime, I see it going the way Nog/Sapp did. Nog gets beat up for a little while, absorbs it, submits Lesnar after he gasses.

How do you think Lesnar would have faired with a 10 minute first round? Yellow cards? Exactly...

if mir gets close enough i see lesnar taking him down at will and smashing him out with hammer fists...

if steve " the mousatche" mazagatti hadnt stood them up in there first match mir would have been destroyed...

we will just see how much more crisp mirs striking is tonight... keep in mind that he is weighing 20-30lbs heavier than there first match up where as lesnar will be about 10-20lbs lighter...

i dont see mir being able to impose his will upon lesnar like lesnar will to him...

There's a lot of 'if's, so I agree that we'll just wait and see. Mir looked pretty cut at 251, so hopefully he is in great shape.

As I said before, even if Lesnar takes it to the mat and is imposing his will, it only takes one careless mistake for an arm to be caught, or a triangle set up.

Jesus Christ. Finally, someone said it (regarding Mir/Lesnar). Being a longtime, avid and somewhat knowledgeable MMA fan, I'm almost appalled by these responses.

I'm not saying Lesnar can't win, obviously, but some of you guys should do a little research on Frank Mir before posting.
