as for the comment about Lesnar having no skill. He did win, and by KO too. You shouldn't cry about size if you lose, look at Gracie, back in his day he took on guys twice his weight and still won, and back then their were no sissy weight classes, you fought with what your momma gave you :P, and you'd fight like 3-4 fights the same night to win it.

as for Lesnar himself, vince mcmahhon (sp?) must be dying of laughter... the whole stunt of lesnar spittin up infront of the camera and then that victory interview, classic WWE hahahaha i couldn't even breath... and to have Sable there too... who else brings thier wife ring side and into the octagon...

the majority of fighters have there wives ring side... and there is nothing wrong with that...

lesnar is not fat and he did not just lay on top of him...

also mir's superior skill set is in his ground game where he uses his BJJ to submit people... the reason why he was not able to get a submission off on lesnar is because of the ability lesnar has to control someone on the ground...

keep in mind that lesnar was a Div1 NCAA champion, that lvl of wrestling is what lesnar is using to control people on the ground while he smashes there face...

The only technique lesner had on the ground was how he held mir's head....otherwise, he layed on him. no leg position, no body position. just lay flat on top.

No money in Brock for Dana??? Maybe you should check the amount of money made at the gate when Brock fights and when Brock doesn't fight. HUGE difference, and you can bet that even more PPVs are sold. He doesn't have a basic pay of 450k per fight for nothing.

Alright ill give ya that one. I guess if you look at it from the stand point that ppl wanna watch, just to hopfully see him get pounded. The crowd made it quite clear they dont like him.....

You can't compare gate revenue though, UFC 100 for example. I can almost guarentee ppl wernt there for the main event. George prolly brings in alot of the crowd....maybe im wrong, but i dont think so.

i dont know imo Lesnar's ground game was much more entertaining to watch than GSP's technical ground game win.

feel sorry for Alves... he was dominated by GSP, but i wouldn't say he was "destroyed" or anything.. GSP didn't look close to submitting him or knocking him out and even during round 5 Alves seemed alert and full of energy... but GSP just managed to command him on take downs... but to Alves credit most of those times he was able to fight back to his feet. That was quite impressive, that one shot i think in round 4 when he got GSP on the ground his weight was shifted back afterwise he may have pounced faster onto GSP and got a good position.

Just a couple things. Lesnar doesn't "cut" 35+ pounds. I think I've read he actually cuts about 15-20 lbs. for weigh ins. He's getting lighter and lighter due to training methods. It'll be good for him.

Fedor has wrecked quite a few former UFC HW champs, and Barnett stands to be another name on that list. The UFC will accommodate him. I don't know where you 4 million per fight, but for his fight with Arlovski, he made $300,000 disclosed. He makes much more in undisclosed "locker room bonuses". This is to avoid Russian taxes, I've read. He probably gets a cut of PPV, as well, though for Affliction, I can't imagine that totaling much.

I vaguely recall hearing $2 million. That's what's popping into my head. Maybe three. Those numbers aren't completely outlandish ones you look at what Randy/Chuck?GSP are getting when everything is said and done.

I was not crying about size thats for sure. All the other weight classes are strictly regulated for good reason. If you think Lesnar won because he was more skillful than Mir you weren't watching the same fight that I saw. It was boring. Lesnar was scared of Mir.

A champion is an ambassador for their sport and Brock Lesnar is the farthest thing from that. The show boating, the trash talking and his all around attitude make me think that soon Dana White might rename the UFC to UFE Ulitmate Fighting Entertainment. The sport is already controversial enough it doesn't need a douche bag heavy weight champ who talks about getting on top of his wife after a win.

like i said before the only way we will see fedor in the UFC is either a 1fight deal, or dana submits to fedors demands... the UFC has tried to get fedor numerous times, so far the smallest contract is 18pages long, and fedor wont sign it

yes a champion is an ambassador of a sport, but one thing you have to take into consideration is the sport... this is not badminton or volleyball, this is MMA where you bash your opponents face in or wrench on there arm until they tap...

if frank had won i would expect you to say the same damn things your saying now... you see for the past 16-17 months since lesnar vs mir I, mir has done nothing but talk trash, even his trainers talked trash about lesnars skill...

i used to like mir, ALOT he was my fav heavy weight, but then he coached on TUF and i lost all respect for him, hes trash, he thinks of nothing but himself hes a total douche, compared to lesnar...

he talked about clinbing on top of his wife when he gets home, nothing wrong with that... its not like he said " im going to this club to find some slut to bang" hes married, and to sable no less... that win was huge for him he was running on alot of adrenaline and was very happy for the win whats wrong with wanting to go celebrate with his hot wife? oh i know its because mentioning love making is offensive.... get over it
