It happens in the last couple days leading up to the weigh in. The rest is called training. They train down to fighting shape. Lol at saying Lesnar begins his weight cut a month before. You aren't understanding what cutting weight is. He probably trains for a few months, cuts the last few pounds in the days leading up.

i dont think overeem would be much of a fight for lesnar... look at the randy fight, brock didnt take him down and look what good it did...Please, please don't tell me that you're comparing Alistair Overeem to Randy Couture on the feet. Do you even know who Alistair Overeem is? Maybe not, since he doesn't fight in the UFC. Anyway, he's the guy who many feel got robbed in a recent decision against the current K-1 Champ. That's K-1. He also knocked Badr Hari the **** out. If Overeem could keep it on the feet, Brock Lesnar would get knocked the **** out. Besides the the world class striking, Overeem is also 6'5, 255. Randy is not. Brock could not out strike Overeem, nor would he have the size advantage. Maybe Semmy Schilt for Brock, as well.

every weight class is strictly regulated, and how was lesnar scared of mir? it seemed the other way around if you ask me.... especially after lesnar landed that inside leg kick on mir.... mir face looked like he was in shock i bet he thought " wholly **** this guy can kick now, he didnt do that last time, and damn my leg hurts now"
yes a champion is an ambassador of a sport, but one thing you have to take into consideration is the sport... this is not badminton or volleyball, this is MMA where you bash your opponents face in or wrench on there arm until they tap...
if frank had won i would expect you to say the same damn things your saying now... you see for the past 16-17 months since lesnar vs mir I, mir has done nothing but talk trash, even his trainers talked trash about lesnars skill...
i used to like mir, ALOT he was my fav heavy weight, but then he coached on TUF and i lost all respect for him, hes trash, he thinks of nothing but himself hes a total douche, compared to lesnar...Yeah, I've never read anything about stuff on TUF being completely twisted by editing...Never.
